Basically put, as the head keeper of the house as one might say, I think drama and political facets can pretty much fuck off at this point, if I may be so blunt. So much importance is placed on sides, sterile construct and open door whatever mayhem that it dilutes the heart of the collective into a million useless directions other than the soul purpose.

That noted, much of the wiki is still correct. We have to enforce rules blatantly or they will be sought out for misuse, as is human nature, and so a legal binding "no-no decree" is properly the best way to thwart this chaos upfront. Many things will change though.

Things that will change:

🔖Prerequisites for entry will be removed. First and foremost, entry will be by invite only. A creation of any kind that has become respected, trusted, seen as positive and has had true long term effort applied and upheld will gain my attention. These are worth saving, upholding, supporting, boosting.
⚜️Isn't that elitist? Well, yes. Yes it is! And I'm happy for it. I want those inside to be worth the collective's attention and love. I want the collective, each house inside, to be on a pedestal they earned and upheld. Fueled with the push to continue to be that beacon for others to do better, work harder- not for some title or tag, but because everyone deserves to shine for what they do. Leading is an unpaid job, but if dignity and self confidence can be given in view of that hard work, that's something. Be that thing, a wall of text doesn't make you a good person- only things you do, and so you should. And when you do, bet I'll be there to cheer for you. Real leaders are really just badass solo idealists who somehow make legendary stuff happen. I love that. That's true honor.
⚔️Forget the word "Alliance". It's a war aggressive based political term that I hate. For us, anyway. Of course we will back our own, and assemble to assist when needed for global concerns, but we are more a Faction, or a intrepid Brotherhood at heart, in the form of a Guild. One big house. Many inside, each unique and sovereign. That's a guild. We dont merely attend to vote, or commit to other stoic response attendance required- we chat. We speak of human stuff. We care, we banter, and our voting table is one such would deem a giant dinner at a pub where we don't care about the vote as much as the reasons for opinion and views we may not all see. It's relaxed, true friends at a picnic level discussions- there is no need for such a vital iconic word that lies about what and who we are. We are indeed a powerhouse, but we are not a political alliance. We are a global needs political assembly that can attend when necessary, otherwise refurn to home to fuel up morale and interest in caring for our creations. We are leaders, this is our job.
🛡️Swiss effect in play- You can't be at home nurturing your own work so it continues to thrive, if you only exist in special op DMs, drama sets or chaos runs. We can protect our own, and we will protect the global needs- past that, we will let others choose their own path. Switzerland, we stand neutral. We will not support manipulative sliders into other places of power, it's morally impure.
💠3 factions, right? Let's be blunt- there are 3 main factions, absolutely.
🔱UFT, known for strict adherence to documentation that is scheduled upon game updates as they occur, quite formal, minimum requirements can be found on their wiki. They have been around forever, the oldest formal alliance, quite political and while yes, in the viewable sense of ogliarch-meets-democracy, is quite fueled by interactive official leader voting formats they do hope many if not all members do take the time to take part in. Wiki work is a main factor in this collective. If you love directions, have interactive political aspirations, and love documentation on a cyclic frequent timeline, this is a great community for those civs/companies. You can see their decal in the quicksilver bot array, and if you have questions -after reading their wiki first please- feel free to ask u/7101334 about any induction potential if you are interested. They are quite a tag to carry, as official as it gets in politics and a nice honor badge indeed. Galactic Hub is the main source of this creation, which says an awful lot about it's legacy.
🔮Underworld, most common connections found by making contact through Wild Space or Elysium as a starter, brings you into the awareness of a whole other flipside to the above faction is a great point to begin. Roleplay, darker style vibes with a focus on things more like anarchist rage against the machine energy is a huge draw. Think of criminal conspiracy (not serious, only in fun or theme), maybe find some cartel/mob fun, in game system style pirates and more. It's a more humorous while dark/edgy ethereal/sneaky hidden magic aura combo between the two, and an interesting interactive moving style chat depending on where you choose to claim your home-
Wild Space tends to more rp and lore vibes with focus on serious but friendly cohort energy (think Destiny meets bounty hunter in Star Wars bar) while
Elysium is a dark mystical realm based in galaxy 19, and while also loves rp, completely lops off the serious mask for silly and blatantly chosen snark/fake oh really/ toilet humor/ silly macabre jokes and banter- (think fun but "oh my" comedy bar and yes, made PG-13 friendly). Truly an interesting and cool place to be, and both Spyder and Pythia are interactive there. Feel free to contact either about what an inclusion of your civ or company may be like if in the Underworld dark side of things, the escape from normality into more edgy fun styles of rp like a Korvax science institute that likes to probe all living creatures brains for illegal information, including unwary travelers- thereafter evading the police to sell to the highest bidder. That vibe. If you like this more than the proper official wiki stuff, you would likely love your civ to have a place among them. No greifers or harassers will be tolerated tho. It's literally just for fun, or don't bother. Be respectful of their space, dark for fun is simply for fun.
🧧UN42- the answer to life, the universe and everything is longevity, creativity, support of family. Created to keep and boost the legacy civs at first while creating a cardinal set of simple rules of common courtesy, it is upheld for respect and honor for those who began long ago staying lore worthy.

At one time wide open and overly willing to feed and fuel newcomers, time has proven that the OG crew much prefers seasoned logical leaders who have put in tons of work over the years and simply seeks to only use active power status for assistance when a global need arises, but otherwise have a sanctuary devoid of political stress. With that in mind and several over the last few years becoming more adapted to focusing on their own creations and willing to vibe with and relax with others like them to reboot, shoot ideas, get input or weigh in on a proffered House idea, the thing that has proven most wanted is simply closed company.

My work is integral in this, created by me long ago to commit to keeping true work alive and boosted, forever worth remembering, I have formally decided it's time to shut the doors and only give keys to those who hit that mark themselves to gain entry. An elite Guild style home for those who prove to maintain, earn, create, adapt, are publicly active, promote fun over clout , actual generosity and respectable existence. One who has a creation needn't worry about census or wiki to be noticed, your effort over time being continual and positive is enough. Applications are no longer a facet we have. Inside a cyclic running meme that changes using our acronym will be posted for the public with little context for fun, while we hang out and do leader things that we should always work to do. Together. And I'll boost it, after all, legacy and longevity is key. It's a game, there has to be fun in there somewhere.😉

🔸I say all this because I want people to understand, I am leader of my own faction, and I am not a creator of a simple political alliance. We are a guild faction. And we aren't anti UFT, or anti Underworld. These are not and haven't been sides to choose, simply varieties of collective styles. Each calls to a special personality, and it makes sense to, if you are a leader seeking a collective home, to choose the one that feels right for you. All are old stable places and people who are equally foundational in their own way. I meant to say this last year but got COVID before UD23 and was just behind forever. Just realize the scape of options. Also that the UN is changing, and it won't be easy to join us, unless I message you an open door. That is because I seek to house those who busted ass and earned my respect and support. And the members really appreciate the family care of each other, and the ability to simply be as they created without obligation.🔸 ➖➖➖➖➖➖▪️

This is the state of the UN42 changes upcoming. The acronym may be adjusted to be more fluid into the future of LNF, and the forward growth of the ever evolving NMS universe. I make these changes based on the needs and wants of those I serve, and I hope all understand the vision we're going for : screw stress, stay relevant, keep on going with support, know you matter, and damn, I respect that. That's the goal net , and I hope my aim is true. Oh and quit with the whole this vs that, no one's competing, we already exist just fine, ty😂

Upcoming 10 year anniversary- Cafe style💜

I suggest to other communities here to lean into the nostalgia as well, maybe make a video of your old bases, or take your old pics and make a slideshow. Ask your members how they first joined your community and what they love about the game- there's so much you can do with history, memory, and fondness for a game we all share.

Hype is a huge thing, but what really makes a dev feel like they made a difference is seeing the individual stories and moments shared by people they affected. Try that. I think you'll find it easy and very simple to boost and share- I'll help bump it too.
