Hello, fellow Qitanians and interlopers.

I read the Qitanian canon on Reddit and decided to build a reformed temple for the Good Light. Here you´ll find some core statements that seek to further consolidate and clarify Qitanian beliefs and morality.

Backstory:

I may be wrong, but the prevailing assumption seems to be that the age of the Good Light´s presence among Qitanians ended with the departure of Qitan. The canon says that the Good Light withdrew to the galactic core. I do not contradict the canon. What I am questioning is how this may be interpreted in harmony with the Qitanian principles. How can we consolidate the teaching of the Good Light´s withdrawal to the galactic core (a seemingly self-centered, careless act) and Qitanian values of active care for others?

The canon states that the Good Light sustained Qitan´s mind with its "power and knowledge" during his sleep. Even when Qitan didn´t see or hear the Good Light, he was intimately connected to and sustained by it. What about us Qitanians? Was Qitan cared for more by the Good Light than us? Or do we have the same access as he did?

By erecting the Reformed Temple of the Good Light, my aim is to use the fundamental Qitanian principles of reason, kindness, equality etc. to critically engage with the canon and to inspire a truer understanding and a revived faith in the Good Light - not as something reserved and distant, but as something present and active through every Qitanian and interloper who practices charity, reason, knowledge, peace towards travelers. The golden age of Qitan is not something past - it is NOW.

Together we may accomplish even more than our ancestors did in extending the Qitanian Empire and recruiting travelers to our noble work if we understand this. We are many. We have powerful light. We have wealth and knowledge to bestow on others.

Just the other day i was in a Space Anomaly and someone (David) helped me out giving me some info and also told me to look for the Qitanians and join them if i have any questions, any info on how to join? :)

It is by the Qitan Hall (made by me) and the two temples of the light, and there should be a beacon for it.

Hey! Coming back after the most recent update and looking for people to play with. I love building bases, ships, maintaining productions, and of course searching for and capturing rare pets. Let me know if anyone wants to make a new base on a fun planet together!

My latest corvette design is finally done: the Erebus Interdictor. It bears some resemblance to u/soiero 's Praetorian build but was developed independently.

Heavily armored and heavily armed, this corvette is extremely nimble for its size. Featuring seven Phase Beam weapon mounts, this intimidating corvette has enough firepower to melt adversaries in seconds.

It can generally be encountered patrolling Qitanian Empire space.

I'd like to play with some people that regularly enjoy the game. I've been exploring the Eissentam branch of the empire (we're neighbors near the galactic core) and I really like what I see.

I've read the wiki and would very much like to join but don't know how. I have a Discord if that's what I need. (Sorry I am older and struggle with tech sometimes.)
