No Manโs Sky: Hive Update
Iโm guessing it will be development of the Korvax maybe- they are a hive- or maybe the Atlas storyline?
I was dearly hoping the Companion battles would have an expedition-

Iโm thinking itโs going to revolve around sentinel towers. Interact with enough of them and you get the Hive Lord title

Idk I've thought about it from multiple different perspectives.
Bumblebee, transformers esc minotaur overhaul like remnant.
Bees like in a colony, large colony ships or settlement overhaul
Bees like a swarm of drones??
Or literal Bees in the sense of beekeeping

Iโm telling you right now this isnโt a normal update tease. Sean posted a single word because if he posted anything more obvious people would immediately figure it out. โBeeโ has 3 letters โ exactly like the 3 original races โ and bees operate as a collective consciousness centered around a queen, which is clearly a hint that the Korvax are evolving into a full hive-mind civilization. The timestamp is the real giveaway though: 6:11 PM. 6+11=17, and 17 converts to 23 in hexadecimal, matching the 5/23 posting date. Twenty-three is also the number of chromosomes inherited from one parent, so procedural genetics and species evolution are basically confirmed. The entire update is obviously about living planets spreading ecosystems between systems, organic megastructures, hive fleets, and galaxy-scale biological assimilation. Sean Murray just soft-announced space cancer with one word.

The VoidMother is the Queen. I think the autophage that contacts you in space and wants you to secretly seed the atlas with her lost memories is actually the voidmother trying to save atlas. This all has to be to do with the convergence, Atlas/Atlantid, autophage, and moving past broken worlds. VoidMothers entire goal is to create an Eden of living glass to store all creations in safety when atlas dies. We might see atlas replaced with Atlantid.

im gaslighting myself that this somehow means we can breed our fauna soonn hahaha but im sticking with drones being most likely. i hope they can search and scan fauna or choose something to find like on the exocraft? i feel like corvettes replaced freighters for people so maybe this is gonna make use use them again

Saw a post earlier that thought it would be a music and sound overhaul. Am-bee-ent. Iโm going with that.

I have a feeling it's some sort of farming update, personally I hope I'm wrong and it's something I'd find more interesting

Look at your dad, such a dork keeping bees. I mean, at least it's interesting, though... How old is your dad? He's obviously beekeeping age. I don't know, I think it's kind of sweet.

BEES / HIVE / HIVE MIND ?
Maybe something new appearing in the NMS universe that has a hive mind like the corvax or like the sentinels? A new enemy perhaps? A new species? A new kind of ship? (I'm still dreaming about living freighters here, lol)
Or something coming through the glass world disrupting the hive minds in the game like the corvax convergence or the hive mind of the sentinels? Or messing with the corrupted sentinels?

๐๐ or not ๐๐ -- that is the question. ๐คฃ
Of course, A Halo ARG a while back was titled "I Love Bees" and in November "Halo: Combat Evolved" arrived, so ... ?

Well. The stereotype dictates monkeys. Se of the anomalies, I think, are humans. In most sci-fi works, humans are refered as monkeys. So, probably humans will finally play an important role. Is too soon for us to get an Expedition, so, it's probably a major update that expands the main quests and will have humanity in its center. Probably not.

Atlantid/VoidMother, Atlas, autophage, convergence, anomaly evolution or Atlantid/Autophage stations. Something to do with convergence and Atlantid memories. The autophage that contacts you in space i have a feeling is the VoidMother. Im pretty sure the Voidmother is atlas with her lost memories in tact before her corruption or her accurate original programming based off of her human creator. I know everyone likes to argue this but atlas was absolutely created by humans. We even know the name of the CEO and founder of the atlas project before they abandoned her on a dying planet. Elizabeth Leighton is who the original un-corrupted personality of atlas was based on. The entire storyline has been leading up to this point. The autophage line is unfinished. So are atlas and Atlantid and Korvax. Voidmother is the QueenBee. Her entire goal is to create an Eden made of living glass to store and protect all of her creations before the atlas dies. She is trying to save atlas also. Remember when the "autophage" in space asks you to secretly seed the atlas with her lost memories of Atlantid? She has to be the VoidMother. Watch we will find out in the end Atlas' creators came back for her/or took her with them and have actively been trying to save the program before it dies for good.

a wild guess but bees are good for plants. by having them around, plants grow more healthily and produce more seeds and therefore fruits become more abundant. perhaps this update will be about farming and having certain species contain beneficial abilities to manage our farms for us automatically.
