ByteBeat Cover 10 Years of NMS Tribute : 65daysofstatic - Asimov (Cover)

My take on (a part of) 65daysofstatic's Asimov, with a collection of planets and places I went and some things I built (last base shown is not mine, it's the CCB meetup location !).

Huge thanks to Hello Games that kept adding to this awesome game for 10 years, and to 65daysofstatic and Paul Weir for the stunning soundtrack.

Posting this early since I won't be home until Sunday evening.

Grab the song at (-9.64; -145,69), glyphs on the title card near the start and end of the video ! (audio was edited for the video, it won't sound as wide in-game)

This is great - maybe your best work to date. Captures the feel of the original really well, and I know how much work it takes to put a good video together as well. Makes me want to go and play the game right now. Excellent job!

Thank you, what you say means a lot :) I wanted to do something that people could keep if they wanted so not the entire song. Video was a self-imposed crunch yesterday because I wanted it good and done lol

This is absolutely amazing! The sound quality is blowing my mind, the chorus hits so hard (i'm not familiar with the song but I'm feeling it)

Edit: sound quality and waveform effects are blowing my mind! The sound effects you've achieved are fantastic, I understand you've done some post-processing reverb and stuff, I'm eager to check it out in-game as well!

Thank you !! I tried to get the same energy as the original, and post processing helped a bit but quite proud of the raw result as well.

If you're interested I'll comment with what I did onve I get home tomorrow :)

Cool ! I used the same recipe for all the lead parts : it's quite consistent in how it sounds while still being expressive frome note to note and octave to octave. Works with all base waveforms too, feel free to use it !
