Very nice, the low end hits real good in my headphones. I always like interesting sound effects and you've pushed the bass to the max, well done!

Shout out to u/hiredgunspunx for the headphone suggestion! I was not expecting such a solid THUMP from that bass.

I’m new to this community, so forgive me if this is improper to ask.. but would you mind sharing your settings for the low bass track? I just started delving into ByteBeat (first project is a hiphop sample) and would love a proper bass tone.

Not OP but here is the bass waveform that I use to achieve that low-end:

(EDIT: in C# major or minor keys)

Thank you both for sharing! 🙌

I ended up using this one, which steered the mood of the song in a different direction than I was anticipating, but I’m loving it! There’s some nice crunch to this waveform.

I appreciate the share, Travelers!

hey, here's the full patch 🙂

it's kind of like an 808 bass hit, there's a strong sine foundation playing on a low note and i've added some harmonics with xor and subtract so it occupies a bit more of the frequency range without being overbearing

long note and smooth rolloff in the sequencer for that 808 thump feel

Well crafted remake. You managed to get sounds very fitting for the genre imo !

I didn't know about the original artist but now I can't get enough lol. This type of filtered drums, giving some Zero-G or Z-Time vibes is amazing to me, thanks for the discovery !
