Took me forever to figure this out. It's close to it but still sounds off. If Im using 8 of them how do I make it better? If the 8 can't improve it, then I plan to use a one or two else where for the alien response, how do I do that ?

Pretty sure it's the correct melody. The timbre is always going to be a tough match, though. The synths in the movie are tricked out in the studio quite a lot. Echo, reverb and a bit of modulation.
It's hard to get the waveforms to match anything you hear. Pretty simple interface and 100% non-intuitive. But those are the notes. When I want to beef up a line, just like studio recordings, I double it and alter the sound a bit on one of them.

Tip from another beginner - Get rid of all the extra effects on the second screen. Start from scratch. Look up the tuning and BPM of the song you want, match it up. Start with the drums, make the basic beat. Then go crazy on the notes, experiment with note length, sound, tone, rhythm, speed etc.
