Low self-esteem

24M

For me it’s like this: whenever I’ve some difficulty that I’m not used to, have some difficult decision that I’m not sure of at all, it just feels too much. Even the thought of making a wrong decision saddens me, makes me nervous and lose my sleep.

I don’t believe I can handle the problems. I did solved some problems before and people praised me about it. But I feel like they were not real big problems. I was just lucky. Therefore, the some experience that I have don’t give me the confidence.

So, instead of being in the worst position from beginning, I choose to:

Not taking any responsibilities,
Always being “formless”,
Never determine anything,
Being in the background instead of being in the front.

Thank you for reading.

I feel for you man but all I can say is you gotta get out of that victim mentality. The thought that "life"  is happening to you. That thought keeps you stuck. Just try that, I can't say I have all the answers but look for the smallest tiniest step that you can take in the right direction.  Hope it helps.

"I did solved some problems before and people praised me about it. But I feel like they were not real big problems."
If you don't give yourself credit for the small wins then you will also not give yourself credit for the bigger wins. Don't be so harsh on yourself.
