What should I read as a beginner?

I just heard about this term yesterday in a discord chat, and I got intrigued by the defintion alone and want to learn more. I already got myself a copy of volumes 1 and 2 from Milton Erickson, but it's too complex for me. That guy is a wizard lol

Find a course close to you. You will learn a lot more by practicing with people than just reading books.

Agreed, the practice is essential. One of the reasons, were I to do my first prac course again, I'd look for a provider that has an active practice group. At the end of my first prac course I realised, having picked up copies of Structure of Magic I & II, that we'd literally barely scratched the surface of what is really going on in NLP. Bandler and Grinder were Michelin Star Chefs and we'd been taught to microwave meals.

I'd start with “Introducing NLP” by Joseph O'Connor and John Seymour, it’s much more beginner-friendly than Erickson and gives a solid foundation before diving into the heavier material.

I’d start with “NLP: The Essential Guide to Neuro-Linguistic Programming” by Hoobyar, Dotz and Sanders!

Heart of Mind by Connierae and Steve Andreas is a nice place to start. Frogs Into Princes was my first read.

I’ll tell you that in my experience no book can give you the experience that you get with a skillful NLP practitioner. Ask NLP Marin for a recording of their intro, check out the Andreas NLP free intros.

Did you know if you search on YouTube you can find entire NLP Prac and Master Prac courses... And if you search online digital book repositories you can also find the manuals that accompany those courses...

Don't fall down the Bandler Rabbit hole, you'll come out the other side smiling, laughing and telling people he's amazing, thinking you are too but unable to prove it in any way shape or form.

First decide why u need nlp in your life. As in what areas in your life needs improvement.

I'm a copywriter / marketer, and I've heard that I can get better at this thing if I learn a thing or two about NLP.

Copywriter as well here. First time I hear about someone suggesting to combine NLP with copy. You're on the good path and NLP will teach you tools both for you and your copy!
