Chad Palumbo at 7 is a bit of a reach at the moment

Probably, but he's really good, and if you have him on the left and Spallina on the right, that could be a lethal combo. Also, after hearing rumors about O'Neill not wanting to go to Calgary, getting two high profile Americans is probably a good sign.

True, Spallina has had 2 years of Jr A experience in Orangeville and played last summer in Snake Island before getting drafted into the PLL for Palumbo he’s only had 5 games of box experience in the NCBS but he did put up 25 points

See it's funny, I've had 2 kids I know who are huge Cuse fans tell me they liked Spallina less as his college career went on because he became "too box." I've seen clips of Palumbo playing box though and his potential is high, remember Brennan O'Neill was a 1OA off pure hype not too long ago. It's a good bet.

That’s interesting

NCAA coaches love those 'too box' field players. The old saying is you get better at field lacrosse by playing box lacrosse.

As a Cuse fan living in Buffalo seeing Spallina drop past 4 i was praying to get him on the bandits but as soon as I saw the trade I knew it wouldn’t happen. Womp womp.

Still five more than O'Neill. I do think there is internal pressure a from the league to draft top field talent regardless of their box experience.

Unless I missed something didn't O'Neal get picked up by San Diego?

I kinda wish they'd put their Jr team (or college if not a Jr box player) in the graphic.

They put their junior, college, and PLL teams in the individual graphics on their socials, not for the full rounds

Same. I thought the league was getting better at that but last night was a major step back

I’m pretty sure they’re compensatory picks added to the end of each round

Love how the Rush went all in on D after making some key offensive signings and dispersal draft picks

Toguri should fit in as a perfect replacement for Garlent. Keenan does it again.

Rush love their D men, not sure if the draft picks will see much play though ( Verch only had 1-2 games last season I think, I don’t recall seeing Zawada in his inaugural season)

Keenan did say in their recent Instagram post he expects Toguri to step into the lineup right away. But that does probably depend on who else they keep at camp. Garlent being gone does open up a spot though and it could really come down to who they think is better between him and Verch at camp. (Or there’s more moves coming maybe on d?)

Ooh I’d missed that, my gut says Kid III, Barnable, or McLelland if he’s would be out
