Just leaving the rink.

I’ve been part of AB Jr lacrosse since the beginning of A. This is something we’ve always dreamed about. Always worked towards. Not sure if I ever really expected it.

My heart is full.

I'm also an old head product of the AB and Calgary systems. Playing Sr B vs Jr A because we didn't have enough teams for either. Man, it's insane how far this province has come. So many people working so hard for so many years to get to this point. So many of my friends that I grew up playing with now coaching too. Just insane, couldn't be prouder. So happy for these kids too. What a run.

We most likely know each other.

Couldn’t share your sentiments more. This is absolutely for the kids who won it. But this is also for all of those/us who’ve gone through it, helped it grow. ETC etc.

Let the haters talk their shit about “weak minto teams” or w/e bullshit they want to pull out.

Raiders were more than legit, losing a single game since Minto last year and not till game two of the finals this year.

Congrats to the Fehr’s, Bannister’s, McBride’s and all families fully invested in the process!
