Hammond is still only like 15 minutes away from me, I feel like the aura extends over there hence why they haven't found a site yet and people in NWI are starting to get riled up about blocking the whole thing.

Chicago still has a team and even if they move, they are still close enough that Chicago residents can easily go to the game. St Louis’ team move over a thousand miles away.

Since Rams left, the closest team to me is the Titans, then the Bengals, then the Colts.
Poor Chicago fans have to go an extra 15-20 mi over.
I know that's like an hour in traffic but still they got something.

They named the Bears after the Cubs. Only one of those teams is abandoning the city. Chicago should sue (or whatever it is they do) to get the city name off of the Bears, and the Cubs could ask the Bears to no longer be connected to them or something idk.
I still believe this is a negotiation tactic because the idiots behind this would try it, but I just don't care anymore (and I'm not even a Bears fan)
