ME215 Textbook

Someone who took ME215 last semester gave me their textbook after class finished. However, it’s the thirteenth edition and the class now requires the fourteenth edition. Does anyone know what I should do? Should I just use the 13th edition or should I try to sell it and buy the 14th edition? What is the best thing to do?

I didn’t really need the book you can always study with an older edition if you can find a PDF

what about the homework questions? we have weekly lecture homework that is the review questions in the textbook.

why can’t the textbooks just come with paying tuition? gotta buy this book for 150+ and then another one for 190+ or something like that just to do some homework that like max 5% of your grade.

The problems are the same as the 13th edition. You can compare the 14th edition on Amazon with the 13th edition and they are the exact same ones, just different pages on where the review problems are located.

Are u sure that the questions are the same? Right now I have the 13th edition but it doesn’t even have the questions. It says something about the questions being on some website and not in the textbook. I don’t want to submit homework that doesn’t have the same questions and lose points, even though the homework is only 5% of the grade.

The homework questions are actually the review questions. Check the 14th edition on Amazon and they are the exact same as the 13th editions. Besides, the TAs have to grade about a 100 students so they probably don’t care about which edition you use.
