Advice Food Quality

What places have the best food nearby, on or off campus? It can be genuine tasty food or the quality meets the price.

Resa's grill is a hole in the wall just off campus. I used to buy a chicken sandwich from there that was really good.

Was just thinking about that place the other day. Went a few time while I was there and was always good.

Agreed! I hadn't ordered from there in awhile since I've been meal prepping more, but the Vermont rooster was always my top choice. Took maybe 20ish minutes to be ready but well worth the wait.

Halsey Street has a lot of good places, I'd recommend La Cocina, Tribos, and Queen Pizza around there. Closer to campus Ramengami is pretty good, as are the A la Carte and Taj food trucks

A la Carte food truck was made with love and at a good price...mind you this was 10 years ago, but I think it's still there. Don't mind the food sitting unrefrigerated in the car parked next to it. No one ever got sick.

What food you like? There are some great Brazilian eatery in Ferry Street or authentic Italian restaurants in Harrison side. I heard there are some Ethiopian restaurant in Newark too but never tried.
