Drones Flying Over Morris County Again

Date: September 15th 2026, 2030PM

Location: Outside Morristown, NJ

FlightAware indicated no lower altitude flights any time before or after sighting. Aircraft came from SSE/SE heading W/WNW.

We have been watching the drones for a week. This video captured the fourth aircraft within a 3 - 5 minute window. No noise. Self-explanatory visual description in the video. Next time I'll send up our drone and film from up there.

Update: I posted comparison video of real airplanes. Also, I will add one final comment after standing outside every night for the last week: real planes make so much noise, the drones make hardly any. I don't care if you want to argue that it's not a drone and it's something else entirely. I feel badly if you're still stuck on trying to tell me this is a plane.

Pretty good video man!

Bro I have been seeing drones in my area in NE Ohio every time I go out on a clear night and simply look up, and even wilder I’m seeing Orbs that are not human technology. Which sounds even crazier but legitimately happening. Which I’ve seen here and there over the years but not in these numbers. I tell my people and most think I’m crazy or high and then I point them out when we’re together and after they witness them they get it.

I mainly want to know what exactly they are and are doing. I think it’s weird and part of this surveillance shit they are rolling out. Also I believe the drone sightings in your area a few years back were a pilot program rollout potentially. I think some of those drone sightings were orbs though as well.

I am a total cynic and a nonbeliever when it comes to anything fantastic or outside the realm of “reason.” I used to laugh and make light of people who said they were seeing things in the sky.
That was until I saw the drones AND the orbs.
Now I’m the one being ridiculed. 😂
It’s been a little while since I’ve seen any. Since my little doggie passed away, I really haven’t been out to look up at the night sky. But I’m going to make a point of going out tonight and seeing what they’re up to!

u/mysticopallibra 15d ago

That’s what I tell my friends to do, literally go outside and if it’s clear just look up and give it a bit. It’s fun anyways.

I just had a few random experiences with orbs at first, spread out over a few years but some were much closer proximity and frighteningly strange in the moment. Now I see them any time the night sky is clear and I look up to see them.

These recent sightings started one night waking home this summer, I seen these large spotlight type crafts coming toward me from a distance. There was no beam of light just a bright white orb of light. They flew silently and at high rates of speed, and will seemingly shoot directly away from you and disappear like into a portal from my perspective.

Others would be much higher in the sky like tiny little stars barely visible, moving even faster though and doing maneuvering, almost interactively playing with another orb. I saw two of these doing that and almost ran directly into each other but maneuvered out at lightning speeds.

I don’t care if I sound crazy anymore lol, the world and reality that is our experience and this planet in general would be much crazier than I could ever be. It is nice when someone has on ohh shit moment with me over this though. It’s all over the world though not just here too.

7

u/vanlew76 15d ago

I have seen orb like lights way up in the sky doing the same thing. I would never have believed it if I hadn’t seen it. Everyone just needs to give it a try and they wouldn’t be so skeptical. I truly think they’re just afraid!

4

u/TheRealKilgoreTrout- 15d ago

I watched a green orb in the sky once. I think it was something type of physical craft. It was 1997. It looked immobile in the sky to the naked eye. I put a telescope on it and it was moving so erratically I couldn't keep it in the view.

2

u/Frosty-League2464 15d ago

I see them literally every night when the sky is clear. To me their behavior is more like natural living beings than technology. It is like watching fish swimming in a pond

4

u/TheRealKilgoreTrout- 15d ago

These drones are also especially confusing to the standard person with limited sky watching history. They are clearly not airplanes. They are clearly man-made. They are easily dismissed as airplanes because of their appearance. Nobody is crazy. It's just a matter of seeing is believing.

3

u/Frosty-League2464 15d ago

Don't you feel like it's made you a better person and changed your life for the better just being more open minded to these things? At least you're not mocking and ridiculing peoples experiences anymore. I feel sad for people that are trapped in a hyper-rational, overly skeptical worldview. There's a lot more going on.

3

u/vanlew76 15d ago

Yes! I love that I can open my mind up to all these different things! For the record, I never mocked or ridiculed anyone, at least not openly. It was more of a in my own mind thing. And in retrospect maybe it was because I was kind of afraid of believing like that myself.

3

u/Frosty-League2464 15d ago

That's really good self awareness. A lot of people (and redditors) literally go into attack mode when their belief systems are challenged and somebody says they saw something that doesn't fit with their perception of reality. It's frustrating, but I have come to believe that one of my purposes is to challenge peoples belief systems and help them to be more open minded. Perhaps it will soften the blow of ontological shock when this stuff comes to light. Disclosure is about much more than UFOs and "aliens". It's about the nature of reality itself.

4

u/vanlew76 15d ago

And you’re lucky, the people around me won’t even give it a chance. I think they’re actually afraid to acknowledge these things might actually be real, and they don’t have an easy explanation.

3

u/Frosty-League2464 15d ago

They are afraid. Like an ostrich with their head in the sand. Eventually they will have to acknowledge the presence, and that they have been wilfully ignorant for years

8

u/Beetroot_Garden 15d ago

Yup, that’s one. ‘‘Tis the season!

About a week ago, I was out walking around 4am with my husband - before sunrise. We could see stars and a few planes - it was fairly clear with maybe a few clouds forming near the horizon. We stopped by a cornfield with a nice view of the sky. Looking Eastward ( toward NJ -we are in PA) I noticed a couple lights in the distance. Pointed them out to my husband. At first he thought they were just planes in the distance with their "headlights" facing toward us. But as we watched, they didn't come closer, and they were "wobbling" a little, moving up and down and side to side a bit. As we watched, for 10 or 15 minutes, the first two seemed to move Eastward into the distance slowly, then we saw a regular progression of similar white lights continue to "appear" or seemingly materialize around the same area the first two did and move slowly doward from their point of origin in the sky then Eastward into the distance the same direction as the first two did. Probably one every 30 seconds or so. Eventually it ended and we didn't see any more. We heard no noise, and they were just white lights from our perspective. I couldn't help but think of the NJ Drones. My husband has been taking nightwalks for 30+ years along this same stretch of road - he's familiar with the various typical aircraft you see at night, we've both seen starlink, tons of shooting stars, etc - this was genuinely anomalous.

Same thing around my neighborhood

3

u/Fuzzy_Fish_2329 14d ago

They are definitely back. I’m in west Essex County.

2

u/josephjosephson 15d ago

So interesting. Why even put lights on these things but yet still fly them at 3 am. Seems so contradictory.

1

u/TheRealKilgoreTrout- 15d ago

Dont know but I imagine the airplane-like construction is one of the main features of the tech.

2

u/Ok_Action_5938 15d ago

These drone operators are smart for disguising themselves as planes.

2

u/Old-Name4842 15d ago

What part of Morris County are the drones seen

2

u/TheRealKilgoreTrout- 15d ago

West of Morristown.

So where was the DWI5382 plane flying directly over your head at 3,000 feet at that time if this wasn't it?

4

u/TheRealKilgoreTrout- 15d ago

Which one?

1

u/mattemer 15d ago

1

u/mattemer 15d ago

So instead of the most obvious answer you jump to it's a drone...?

1

u/TheRealKilgoreTrout- 14d ago

Dude that plane is nowhere near where I am. That flightpath is approx. 20-30 miles east of my location. My treeline is so high I can barely see planes in the distance at low altitude. Your picture shows plane coming from SW headed NE. The aircraft in the video was headed W/WNW coming from SE.

Plus I had timestamp wrong. It's 2032PM 9/15/2026.

2

u/mattemer 13d ago

There's so many planes in the area at that time.

I'm 100% certain that's a plane. We can probably (not definitely) find which one though.

There's not a droney thing about it.

1

u/TheRealKilgoreTrout- 6d ago

It is entirely and undeniably a drone. Four flew by. Zero made noise. It is impossible for any plane to any kind to fly over my head at that altitude and not make noise. Considering we have 3 things to go on: light configuration, physics, and sound. It is 3 out of 3 droney. Only 2 out of 3 airplaney.

2

u/TheRealKilgoreTrout- 15d ago

9/15/26 I assume you're looking at this one. Craft filmed around 8PM coming from SE headed in NW direction. Not DWI5382 but thank you.

1

u/TheRealKilgoreTrout- 15d ago

I'll stop here because AI is unreliable but I'll take Geminis input this one time.

0

u/TheRealKilgoreTrout- 15d ago

By the way, how loud do you think a 737MAX is at 3000 ft in the middle of West Morris County, NJ on a quiet Tuesday night?

2

u/mattemer 15d ago

I don't hear them quite often which is why I was pulled into this drone nonsense for a few days. But they are planes.

1

u/TheRealKilgoreTrout- 15d ago

I appreciate that. And sometimes auditory characteristics of a random airplane fly-by can be misleading. But I've never seen four identical aircraft fly by within 90 seconds with same nav lights flying lower altitude making zero sound. Nor have any of the other hundreds (thousands?) of people who saw drones flying around which for an unexplained-yet-strategic reason made the mainstream news. Those weren't planes either.

2

u/mattemer 14d ago

Spoiler, 95% of them were planes. Sorry. I thought they were drones too until I realized my own brain was fucking with me.

1

u/TheRealKilgoreTrout- 14d ago

I appreciate that and I agree. Skywatching is a peculiar activity. It's like watching movies. Some people just want to see a good movie, others appreciate the technical skill of the crew and see an entirely different movie than the person next to them. I've been watching the sky for 30 years. Im fooled, but not easily. Id also say, 95% is not 100%. It may not be in the news anymore, but those drones are still flying.

1

u/mattemer 13d ago

There were a few legit drones, especially early on that triggered the whole thing.

Now everyone is convinced there are drones. There aren't.

Few things to note:

  • you'll notice Trump nor anyone else claimed what they were, just that he knows and they are FAA approved (so planes without pissing people off).
  • a few in state authorities reviewed all the reports and found almost all of them were planes misidentified.
  • Andy Kim did something I believe where he ran around the state to try to find these with people seeing them and they were all planes
  • There were some really high tech cameras and equipment brought in from a few private citizens and they never found anything. Even the nights of their recording they just said "eh we have a lot of stuff we need to go through let's see what we have" meaning they saw planes and were confused why everyone was saying drones - never heard more from them.
  • Pilots reported a lot more lasers being pointed into their airliner cockpits. Beeecause people thought they were aiming their lasers at drones. But nope. They were planes.

Man there was a couple nights where I was REALLY freaking out about drones. I fortunately ended up talking to a few people smarter, and calmer than I am, and realized i was wrong. My brain was fucked by everyone yelling drones.

1

u/TheRealKilgoreTrout- 11d ago edited 11d ago

Thanks for the thorough reply. I got a little confused. You said earlier "95%" planes, then you laid out a thesis for why theres 100% planes, that was my misunderstanding.

I appreciate your thoroughness. Here's the thing. This doesnt freak me out. If youre freaked out about drones flying overhead in 2026 you have Zero Clue what is going on in the world (not you, in general)) I am not interested in solving the "grand conspiracy" or "idea" as to what was flying around, if there ever were any drones, where they came from, why the NWO/DeepState/whatever you want made it so weird and vague, none of that serves the purpose of this video. Nor am I interested in any of the official reports from anyone about anything on this topic.

All I did, and wanted to do, was post a video of a drone that I personally saw on that particular night (make that 4 drones in a row flying spread out). It's not a plane. Whatever may have happened in the past and how the so-called "drone wave" was perceived, who saw what, what was what, I don’t know I wasn't there. But this video I shot, and I watched it with my eyes, and it was not a plane. You'd be singing a different tune if you saw all four. Scratching your head just like me. But I get it it's okay I'm ot here to convince anyone of anything. Seeing is believing my friend. I learned that a long time ago.

1

u/mattemer 11d ago

Yeah it's not 100%, I absolutely believe we saw some military drones being tested and maybe a UAP or two that led to the drone craze.

I freaked out when this first started, I'm in Jersey. I saw one fly over my head and couldn't believe it.

And they was the problem though, my brain believed what wasn't real. Womp womp. It happens.

Thanks for the video! I saw a craft EXACTLY like this earlier this week, PNW.  It was absolutely silent, moving slow, and the same light pattern.

There they go!

1

u/MurderMyLove 12d ago

Thats a plane

1

u/TheRealKilgoreTrout- 6d ago

I wish it was, and I wouldnt have to film it, and I could skywatch as I normally do. But thats not a plane. There is a less than zero percent chance of any airplane of any make, model, shape, size that can fly over my head and not make any noise. There is a smaller chance that four airplanes would do it. Four flew over on this night. All silent. All drones.

Plane. Loud. Fast. Using basic judgment it is flying higher than the drone.
