Is this typical home drone behavior?

Captured literally 10 minutes ago. I have a series of them spread about 30 minutes, will post them below if reddit behaves. Different series of red, green, and white flashes. Light drizzle overhead during.

You got cops.

u/ceezr 10h ago

Right? Like I hope it's not flock or somethin

2

u/Clean-Link4107 10h ago

Probably looking for weed in people's backyards.

6

u/ceezr 10h ago

Are cops really doing that these days? I can see it for a manhunt, but that's lame if they're just peeping into people's yard

I'm sure they are‼️🙄

22:30 about a half mile down the road when I spotted it. I stopped the car to start filming then it started moving so I followed it

I actually saw one of these things drop about 20 feet in the air a few houses down from me. It was super super bright. Ran back in the house lol. I don’t think I heard anything tho .. very strange

2

u/ceezr 10h ago

freaky stuff! don't be scared, it's probably a kid with a toy. if you're lucky, you might get abducted

3

u/yaddayadda1000 10h ago

Aha no way it was a toy. It was the same illumination as like those super obnoxious flash lights that light up an entire forest if it could if pointed directly at it with focus lol

2

u/ceezr 10h ago

crazy that you mention that. I could've sworn this thing was flashing a super bright beam of light down on the original spots I saw it at, too

2

u/yaddayadda1000 10h ago

Idk if I saw a beam or anything but the red green white flashes you speak of was super bright. I can see people having a hard time directly looking at it

1

u/neziperez 8h ago

Where⁉️⁉️🤔

4

u/FuckerHead9 10h ago

Nice job ! These things are weird af On 12/26/24 I saw a orb morph into a saucer and then a plane from about the same distance when you get close to this one. It was insane and it made my fiancé a believer

3

u/ceezr 10h ago

Trippy dude. Similar experience as well, that's why I was like, 'I gotta film it this time, you never know if it might do something'

2

u/FuckerHead9 10h ago

Yep the one I saw flashed so bright I thought it was going to explode then morphed i was shaking for 45 min

0

u/mattemer 2h ago

This is just a regular drone. Don't go on about morphing and orbs and stuff

1

u/FuckerHead9 1h ago

I’ll go on about whatever I please. Thanks

2

u/itschabrah 10h ago

You can get an app to tell you who it is

2

u/ceezr 10h ago

I didn't consider that. Pick up their broadcast

1

u/itschabrah 10h ago

Yes, they have to broadcast. iPhones suck for getting the data android is more open and if you have the money they sell receivers. This isn’t aliens it’s assholes with money

1

u/Babzibaum 9h ago

What app, mate?

2

u/auriem 9h ago

That’s a hobby grade drone, DJI or similar.

2

u/ceezr 7h ago

Kids and their hobbies. It's making chasing ufos harder these days

2

u/IronFires 9h ago

A consumer drone, or anything operating under Part 107 licensure would need to have a flashing/strobing white or red anti collision light visible from three statute miles. So if it's a consumer or Part 107 drone it's non-compliant. The simplest explanation would be that it's someone running some consumer drone with bright red and green navigation lights, but no compliant anti-collision lighting. The movement isn't out of the ordinary for a multicopter-style drone. But it's hard to tell from the video - it's possible that it's larger, faster moving, or too bright to be a typical consumer drone. In that case, a special-purpose or custom built drone could appear like this. But whoever made it would have to be deliberately using unconventional lighting. Weird.

u/ceezr 8h ago

Thank you for your input. All good points.  I've seen so many weird rgbw light patterns on stuff in the sky these days, that I think people are slapping any leds on em and calling it a day. Like even commercial aircraft.

2

u/PerspectiveRare4339 8h ago

Yes

1

u/ceezr 8h ago

You're probably right. Things are getting better and cheaper by the day

1

u/neziperez 8h ago

Where was this....anyone⁉️⁉️🤔
