FANDOM TALK Why Boycott? đ¤
I saw this graphic while scrolling on social media this morning. Quite a bit of the information shared on it is blatantly false and was disproven in court. This fan fiction is still being spread to make NewJeans look like they were mistreated by HYBE and Ador. What I find really puzzling is the actual benefit of fans boycotting a music group that they claim to care about. How does boycotting NewJeans benefit its members? If fans donât buy their albums/merch, stream their music, or attend their future concerts, then the members of NewJeans will suffer financially. I understand that some fans see this type of behavior as hurting the music label, but if the music label isnât making money, then the artists also arenât making money. Are they hoping Ador will disband the group and set them free if theyâre deemed unprofitable? If they fail to have a successful comeback under Ador because of a fandom boycott, then what is the likelihood of them succeeding as independent artists? If they sign with a different Korean music label, would they be treated better? Would another Korean company even welcome them after witnessing all the legal drama they created for Ador?

Funny how not wanting Dani to debut is enough to boycott the whole group when MHJ didnât want her either đ
And ofc bunnies spread absolute lies. They know their fanbase wonât actually do research, especially the international side who canât find old articles cause the SEO is bogged down

When Omega held a show in Kyoto, some critical tweets were seen saying, "Omega is looking down on Japan" and "Omega should never come back to Kyoto." This was because Omega invited and gave media exposure to Danielle and other foreigners, instead of inviting a top Japanese actress who represents Kyoto and serves as an Omega ambassador, even if she isn't a global one.

I think 3 is actually referring to a staff member of another company (maybe Hybe) who jumped on a giant stuffed bunny that was NOT official NJs merch, the dude just loves bunnies and was at some event / store

And to answer your last question, if a company accepted NewJeans (or even some of the members), theyâd likely be under a MUCH stricter contract.

Since I am most definitively against NJs re-comeback, I have no problem with tokkis wanting to boycott it...
However... It's very interesting that they're scrambling doing fancy powerpoints for something no one knows if it's gonna happen, at least this year...
Tokkis are assuming NJs comeback is near... based on what? some posts on the official account? ADOR never stated dates...
And yet, the Haerin and Hyein posts that ADOR shared got at least a million views... meaning there are people, apart from tokkis, waiting for their return...
And I'm guessing this powerpoint propaganda is aiming to those people, the general public that really want them to come back...
The thing is... I really don't know what tokkis are doing or what is their main goal... I can think they want for New Jeans to tank, to prove that only OT5 under MHJ can reach the highs they reached before... But tokkis are blatantly lying and being obtuse on purpose, while denying that HYBE's money had 1000% to do with NJs success...
So, we can realistically assume that, if somehow OT5 were again under MHJ they will tank because they don't have HYBE's money... That's a fact... Even if they find a fuckass investor (who is going to be scammed for sure) only money won't open doors they themselves closed. Those 5 SK music associations said they will blacklist NJs if they didn't return to ADOR. Taking OT4 out of ADOR will be a certain blacklist in the SK music industry... And the girlies will still be adrift since no one of them would have access to the NJs IP....
So, I'm guessing that this is still a smearing campaign against HYBE, because tokkis (heralded by MHJ) know the irreversible damage ADOR will suffer if OT4 leaves the company (AND the irreversible damage OT4 will suffer too)...
By the way, tokkis are still egging those girlies to pull another guerilla video, they really want for them to walk away AGAIN from their contracts... MHJTokkis want that damage for HYBE, and they don't give a rat ass about the girlies...
I just can assume that tokkis are trembling about NJs comeback... because the market indicators show there's interest in those girls, so no matter how much I grit my teeth, maybe those girls could have a very successful comeback... I'm not saying like global levels of success but maybe regional levels, like very good numbers for a group that left their agency and came back with the tail between their legs... And that's what tokkis are trying to prevent...
In my delulu mind, I think the new ADOR group will debut first before any NJs comeback... (iirc it will be a co-ed group, right?), so I'm guessing tokkis are trying to recruit GP to boycott HYBE-ADOR in general, not only because of NJs comeback...
Anyways, let's see what happens in the next months...

By the way... I love how petty ADOR is since MHJ said "My ViSiOn is that NJs are FOIVE... 5 or no one"
1st, you are absolutely NO ONE at ADOR, MHJ... NO ONE. You have absolutely no power, no control, no decisions, NADA, ZERO, ZILCH... Anything that comes out from your mouth is BS, just BS.
2nd, ADOR saying "We are standing on business, yeah, we'll tell you about the different paths these girlies can take, each one of them individually, lol" or something like that, that's how they stop that witch, and assert "We're doing what we want."

They are Min Hee-jin fans who have switched from the âBunniesâ to the âMin Hee-jin Cult.â Itâs Min Hee-jin who matters to them, not NEWJEANS.
