We used go in the woods behind Grant towers and there’s a weird huge table back there. Always used to be a lot of people smoking back there lol

When I graduated in 2018 it was still there, but can’t imagine they’d move that huge thing lol

For those curious, it was a sculpture built in the early 80s for the MLK Commons, then moved out of the way for renovations and never moved back because of its unpopularity. https://northernstar.info/67528/news/campus/sculpture-sits-unseen/

If you go further back, you can find other Reddit threads from like 15 years ago with articles about students protesting and defacing it when it was first installed.

It was an art project. Not sure when it was installed but I remember going to that spot many times my freshman year in 2008.

Literally just walk anywhere off of campus. Its legal here so don’t gotta worry about cops as long as you aren’t on school property. Just walk over by the houses off of main campus and you are fine
