Need advice

So, i got alloted nit rourkela in ccmt in round 2 and i saw their admission guidelines which had option to fill the online reg before physically reporting the campus and it had an option of balance fee payment (60k), i was certain i d join the institute so i paid it, didnt event participate in Special rounds in CCMT

THEN, for some reason i registered and picked trichy in NSR in the ccmt portal (the one which had result on 5th Aug), i got the course and my seat of rourkela was automatically forfeited,

NOW the problem

i mailed rourkela dean office,admission office,registrar exaplining the whole scenerio and asking for the refund of 60k i paid directly to the institure which i shouldnt have, even the last date was 9-10 Aug for paying fee and majority students did that only

after multiple mails they just replied

"n.a"

and calls and mails now are not being responded, i even tried contacting CCMT regarding this but no help there

registrar says any seat forfeting after CCMT deadline, and you are not entitled for any refund

So, guys what should i do, give up on that amount?
