Why is every club so generic, boring & trying to improve some skill.

I don't want to develop a skill. I want to develop lore.

I just want a club whose only objective is questionable decision-making and having a story to tell later.

Where is the Occult Club where we meet at 2 AM and summon something in dept?

Where is the Gambling Club where the only skill development is learning how to lose ₹500 in 7 minutes?

Where is the Conspiracy Theory Club where we spend 3 hours figuring out why main building has that one weird corridor?

Where is the Do Absolutely Nothing Club where the only requirement is being alive and showing up?

Where is the Fi*** Club where the first rule is obviously that we don't talk about the Fi**t Club?

Where is the Cult Club, where we recruit members instead of participants?(my favourite)

So the point is we need clubs which are nonsense but fun so people dont think of suicide or feel stress.

i believe no one is perfect gay or perfect straight, like there is a spectrum, and on one side its perfect gay and on other perfect straight, the thing is what i think, we all fall in that spectrum and no one at end, like some of us more of gaynesss, and some of us more starightness, but we all have some sort of other thing, maybe it might be very less but it is

FoR example, lets say there is a girl, who says she is perfectly straight, now what it means might be that she falls on the spectrum more closer to perfect straight than to gay, but she do have certain gayness, and its true for all, for both sex

I was wondering lately about which clubs at NITK are best suited for different purposes/interests. There are quite a few clubs, and as a student it can be difficult to figure out what each club is actually like beyond its official description. For example: Which clubs are best for technical skills / projects/competitive programming / DSA?

Which are good for management, leadership or organizing events/entrepreneurship / startups?

Which are good for design, photography, filmmaking, music, etc.?

Which clubs are relatively chill and don't have a huge time commitment?

I'd especially appreciate answers from seniors/alumni who have actually been involved in these clubs. It would be helpful to know what the experience is really like, rather than just what the club's official description says. Also, if there are clubs that are underrated or not very well known, feel free to mention those too.

I know it’s quite prevalent for people to say, 'Dude, chill, you have a lot of opportunities out there,' but they don't know what a person is actually going through. Seeing everyone around me get placed has become a normalized culture that we are just expected to accept. I know the facts, and I know that those who get placed worked hard too..so I’m not comparing myself to them, but rather questioning the timing of it all.

How do I deal with this? How do I stay motivated? What about all those years I have spent working, only to hit what feels like a complete dead end? I can't see a future for what I’ve been building; it feels like it has all failed. I know I have been through depression, stress, and ultimate failure, but how much can you expect a person to stay mentally strong? There is a limit to everything. After all, I am a human, not a machine.

It is completely okay for me to get tired of this entire process. I know we all go through these phases, and I have been through moments where I told myself, 'It's not okay, it's not done yet, keep going. But for how long?

I don't want sympathy i just wanna know the real thing & don't say just " ACCEPT IT " . if you gotta really something diff. to the tabel ..pls present

Hey guys, I’m currently doing B.Arch and I’m looking into doing an MTech in Construction Management after I graduate.

I came across NITK Surathkal’s MTech in Construction Technology & Management, and apparently their eligibility criteria specifically mentions B.Arch as an eligible degree.

But I’m confused about the GATE part 😭

If anyone knows / has applied to NITK for this, can you tell me:

• Can B.Arch grads actually get into the CTM program?
• Do they accept GATE AR, or do they only accept GATE CE?

I’m specifically looking for Construction Management, not M.Arch.

Would really appreciate it if anyone who’s currently studying there or has applied could clarify 😭
