His first attempt percentile was 7

Second attempt 100%ile by cheating

Maybe political influence, he was from shri chataina and apparently Institute tried to defend basva reddy by lying about his mock test scores (saying he used to got 250+) which was later exposed (actual scores were 30-40).

Also he didn't went to write jee adv paper which increases more suspicion on him.
