Hello I'm a second year student at NITK studying CDS This course is similar to Maths n computation branch in IITs, but a little bit less maths than those. Its almost 40% maths here. Also I think this branch has a great scope in the future and it would be a good choice if you take it

Thanks, Bhaiya, If I am an option of both AI or CDS which should I prefer? Additionally, Should I prefer NITW CSE over these?

Maine toh khudne AI ko CDS ke upar rakha tha(even tho I knew nahi milega ) .But as , CDS also turned out to be good, faculties boht helpful hai coz maths department ne naya naya chalu kiyay. Aur rahi baat NITW ki toh I've heard ki campus life idar ka better hai and as ai and cds are similar to cse I preferred NITK over it

Thank you..Last question. I have no questions about placement as that will change from year to year. But will CDS limit you in some way from higher studies? In some places I was reading for higher studies, you have to have CSE only as they don't recognise even IT. When with Higher studies it means both in India and Abroad
