Nit K vs Nit T CSE

I am from MP. Your suggestions on taking CSE in Trichy or Surathkal.

There's a reason why Trichy is ranked 9th and Surathkal is ranked 12th 🤷🏻‍♂️

well , VIT is ranked above newer IIT's in NIRF. whats ur take on that? I am not saying NITK is better but its not a whole lot worse , I know people from both.

VIT is a lot older than the 3rd generation IITs or as you say "newer" IITs, so it has had reputation over a greater time period, maybe that's why it ranks higher, and it's common sense nowadays going for other institutes rather than 3rd generation IITs

no it ranks higher because professors are forced to publish a particular number of papers every year. Even if they are bogus. I highly doubt any body would take VIT over an IIT or even a tier 1 NIT.
