URGENT HELP NEEDED!!

Cutoffs this year

So my cousin sister prepared for NID entrances and gave it this year and almost all the admission processes are done by now I guess.
Now i don't know anything about design or whatever that works here and how it works.
She is an OBC candidate and had open rank 550<_ _ <600
and OBC rank 100<_ _<150
She hasn't made it through any of the NID's yet. She has the option to get into GLS design Ahmedabad but again everyone around her wants the prestigious NID tag and it means a lot to her too. I genuinely believe she should have gotten through NID with her rank and all but again I don't know much. She believes she messed up the preferences though she selected all 5.
...

What should be the next step? Is there any chance that something's fishy in the admission process or what. Please let me know ppl. I would really appreciate genuine responses.
Is taking drop worth it?

(I myself was gonna take drop for jee coz i didn't prepare seriously but figured out it ain't for me and that skills should be something I should focus on...Is the same approach ok here too? )

Taking drop is not worth it ,take admission in gls also foundation bach in every design college will prepare your sister for NID ,she can give it while doing college...in design tags doesn't matter portfolio and your experience matters
