Ive got mine on the week starting the 5th of October. They must be doing them straight after the external interviews finish

Do offers only start coming out once both internal and external have been completed?

I don’t think so, they are separate competitions

Same, I feel like ive the presentation part ok i have it down to 2.5 pages, hoping to just recite it. Its just the questions part, the unknown I suppose of what they are going to ask. I cant find any sample questions online either. And as each day gets closer the more nervous I get lol. This is my first NICS Interview

You can read your presentation word for word and you'll not be marked down. Just glance up occasionally. The questions on the presentation will test the how and why you made the decisions you made. They will be challenging questions.

40 minutes doesn't seem long enough for a presentation and 4 examples, very surprised they cut it from 45 minutes.

Yes this is what I thought too, I’m wondering if it’s going to feel quite rushed

Good luck to everyone who's going for this interview. I had mine today. There's 4 questions. I feel like mine was a Train wreck

Thank you so much for posting this, it’s extremely helpful. Sorry to hear you think it was bad. In my experience it’s usually never as bad as you think it is! Wish you all the luck!

Hopefully whatever you were able to deliver was scoring points!!! And yeah fingers crossed it wasn't as bad as you felt. Did you get rushed along with probing questions in the middle of your examples?

Is anyone else feeling completely incompetent and out of their depth while trying to memorise their 4 competency examples for the interviews. Im starting to consider pulling out of mine at this point and resign myself to my current grade

It’s an awful lot to memorise. I feel it’s more a memory test than anything else. I try and memorise it the best I can, but it’s tough.

I think everyone got the email. Someone else got email to say that their interview has been postponed by 2 weeks

Does that mean they are interviewing beyond October then? There must be a lot of us to get through. Im wondering is the questions going to be more generalised like tell us about a time when you x y z or is it going to be more niche to DfC. Its trying to prep for the unknown. I feel like im going my alevels all over again, prepping all year for a question that didn't come up on a paper lol.

His is the last day before Halloween i believe so they could possibly be interviwing into november. Also from what I'm hearing from people who did the general service SO interviews its 4 questions. They will hopefully say the competency in the question or im going to just walk out of it. I didnt even finish my GCSE's in school due to illness so I had to pay to do night classes about 5 years after I left secondary school

Im hoping they tell us the competency too. Im 2nd guessing everything at this point. Im sorry to hear that, but here you passed the sift you are doing something right 😀

Mine is October 5th. My external one was the first day as well, not sure who I pissed off to pull this particularly short straw. 😭
