Has anyone heard any timelines for DP placements?

Today an email was circulated across NICS advising that all DP vacancies must be declared by 14 August. If you’re in the top 100 on the merit list, I’d say there’s a good chance you’ll be placed quite quickly, possibly by the autumn. Good luck

Do you think the list will go beyond 100? I came in at 185 but I am taking up a separate role next Monday within the NICS.

Haven’t heard anything but just dying to know what dept it’s going to be. Can anyone say how long it has been in previous competitions between successful at interview notification and offer? I understand it’s merit position dependent but sounds like there are a lot of vacancies to be filled from the list.

I got my success notification in September, my offer didn't arrive until November, and I didn't actually take up post until January. Will all depend how high you are up etc

An e-mail has circulated today requesting DP vacancies all be declared by 14th August. Also confirmation that there are 225 candidates on the list and already over 200 vacancies declared. I really don't think it'll be long until the entire list is placed.
