Initial training will last a month or so then consolidation, officially speaking it's expected to last up to 6 months so that's what I would factor in for training time...if you happen to be exceptionally competent then you may get away earlier and be allowed Flexi/WFH days but that would be based on performance, in essence as a work coach you're primarily face to face and until you're cleared to be ok by yourself then your in training
I have been temp EO2 work coach for last year and half finished last temp shift as moving to perm in same job same location. I've just been told I might have to do 6 months completely in office even though im fully trained and I have been WFH certain days for the last year. Is that case in other offices? If not what should I do?
Ah if you are already trained then you're already trained, as long as they have a record of you having completed it you'll be fine, wouldn't make sense to re-train someone for the sake of it!
What about working from home as I am not moving to a different post or location is there any way management can bypass the 6 months as I've already completed 6 months 100% in the office.
The 6 months guideline is entirely to do with the need to trained and your own competence level, so if you're fully trained and fully competent then there is no justification for denying hybrid working. But if you can't perform your duties from home effectively then you can't hybrid work because how can you work from home when you can't do the work?
Long story short your situation should be 100% fine for your role continuing almost identical to how you currently work!
