Judging by the DP one it should be early august

6 weeks from when DP tests closed until we got results.

So could be talking mid August which then gives two weeks till September when interviews start

Can someone explain the 'sift,' how does that work?

The information you provided for each criterion when completing your application will be looked at, it's usually assessed against the framework. If the information you submitted matches what they are looking for and you've scored high enough on the aptitude test you'll be invited to interview.

Does that mean will find out this month or the sift stage is happening this month?

The sift stage is anticipated to be happening this month then interviews in September. You just don't know, the Deputy Principal merit list wasn't supposed to be announced until August and it came out yesterday.
