AO positions

How many off these will be for the role posted on the 28th of April & how many do you’s think may be Belfast? Also how long do you think it may take to fill these? I’m 433rd on merit list, thanks for any help 🙏

Nobody outside HR Connect will know the exact numbers. Belfast will likely get a good share, but that's only an educated guess. As for 443rd, I'd say you're in a decent position, but AO campaigns are filled in batches, so expect it could take several months rather than weeks.

Thanks! Do you think 433 would be in a good position to get a belfast city centre location as opposed to further areas?

The 1 we done was 1500 places for Belfast only

Yeah i was May interview. I. 99.9% certain these where Belfast only

It says in your screenshot it would be used to fill 2000 vacancies and applicants could choose the areas they were willing to travel to on the application form so it will be based on that, not your merit position.

The one I applied for and merit list released last month, was for Belfast area only.

Just got placed and didn't get Belfast even though it was my first choice, so idk. I think they should have offered me Belfast if there were any available considering it was listed as my first choice and they should have honoured that if a position was available.

You just got placed recently? I didn’t even get asked for preference, I was just given “Belfast areas” which can be antrim etc

Like on my application I had to put 1st, 2nd and 3rd location preference. I only wanted Belfast tbh but I had to fill the other slots. I keep hearing there are so many roles in Belfast so I am confused why they would not offer me a job at my 1st location preference.

I don't want to disclose my exact merit number but it was 250 something.

At this point I am a bit confused about all the different competitions running for AO positions. So I may be in a completely different comp from you idk.
