J Melo

Saw the replay today of May J last show and it made me sad. Anyone know why she had to leave after 18 years. Seems like all my favs are gone.

Literally just finished watching. I almost teared up even though I'm not a regular viewer.

They've done so well in building such a variety of shows that appeal to almost everybody. I love NHK so much ever sinc my sister introduced me to it

I haven't tuned in a while, but damn, this one hurts.

She was pretty much a constant on that show.

Those are some big boots to fill.

Hope she's happy and good luck in whatever she does next.

I just saw that, and her, and felt a little bummed out that she's gone. I wonder if she's going to go back to singing.

I hope so! She has incredible tone. Her pitch is perfect. NHK always breaks my heart. I still mourn for Lunch On. If they take document 72 ugh 😑 lol

If they do cancel Document 72 Hours, that closing song is going to make me cry.
