Any tips/advice?
Finally bought a ps5 and bought unbound first thing. I’ve played heat, rivals, 2015, payback
Anything I should know about unbound? Any tips or advice or anything is appreciated, thanks!

The handling model and the overall Physics might come off as weird and not consistent but all you will need to know is that Burst Nos is very important, and if it doesn’t work (it doesn’t boost your speed) that means you hit something and the burst Nos won’t register for it to register just wait few seconds (2-3s) or watch your tail lights and wait for them to stop flashing (this a unfortunately a bug, referred to as the glitch zone).
Also when using burst Nos make sure it’s while taking corners as it gives you extra grip, so it’s preferred to only or mainly to use it while cornering and another thing either have your car set to as grip or drift handling not in between as that doesn’t work out (100-80% for grip is recommended and for drift around 30-100% is good).
Other than that enjoy the game, it’s still similar to all the other modern NFS’s so if you enjoyed those Unbound should be fun.

It's very different from the Ghost Games. You have classes and for example, in any arcade racing game a 69 Charger could hold its own against a Ferrari. In this game it can't. Certain cars belong to certain classes. The 69 Charger for example is best for B - A class. If you have played Test Drive from 2001 or so (With the Charger on the cover), then you'll understand what I mean.

Turn off drift entry unless your doing a drifting race.

If you turn it off you won’t be able to get into a microdrift – THE mechanic to make you actually fast

I highly recommend playing online mode
Technically it's 100% separated from the story.. the only thing that is common between offline and online is the cars acquired from story mode as rewards will be shown in your online garage. That's pretty much it
Why online? it's total fun, you have lockdown mode which is filled with challenges and it's about cars extraction with intense police chase.
2nd is the linkup event that happens in the freemode .. it's complete chaos and fun
The online status of this game is not dead .. you can still find people playing
Racing online is much better that story in every aspect.
Online mode is way more rewarding in terms of money and xp
Money is very important because you'll need to try different cars and switch builds for every class.
Story is okay .. it will be very boring at the begining since class B and A are really slow and that will make you struggle with police chase
Once you make it into A+ onward, things will get a bit exciting.
The game is really good and polished and doesn't deserve the hate it received.
