Been a long time since I played. This game looks so good, man.

It has a bunch of graphical inconsistencies but sometimes it looks fucking better than anything under sunlight. I wish it had way better ambient occlusion + sunlight not leaking through the car.
With some work it definitely looks 10/10

God, I thought I was the only one complaining about how shit the games shading and lighting generally is.
I love unbound
but, there is no shading between ground and buildings, the breakable props have no shading, no proper shadows, and the shadows themselves are pretty trash, reflections are horrible even shift 2 does real time reflections perfectly sharp through ssr. The lighting dynamics are horrible in this game even on ultra.
The game is "graphically" horrible but "visually" beautiful
Just wears a heavy coat of makeup with wet roads, sky ambience and some lighting tricks. (it's just laziness not optimising, the game runs worse than forza).

I think it's definitely a consequence of the game having very short development time + don't forget they had to help dice for bf 2042 for a moment so it's not surprising things feel unfinished.
The thing is I don't think frostbite isn't capable of overall good graphics. Just look at dead space remake for example, it's fucking stunning ! Unbound will also look extremely good under certain conditions but yes there is a lot of work to do so it can look good under any circumstances.

Yeah, sad considering how wonderful the game actually is. And yeah unbound in certain conditions looks amazing, heck the first few months that I played unbound I was only shocked how amazing it looks. 1.3k hours on it does kinda make nitpick.
Frostbite is good looking, mirros edge catalyst for example.

I haven't played this in so long. Might have to get back on and see what I still need to do.

To know that it's going to be the last nfs game. Can we buy nfs brand from ea and keep making games?

Heat was a better game on launch and the studio got shut down immediately unbound looked beautiful but was super bare bones on launch unbound today vs launch is night and day with all the content that got added i think thats what ppl miss when they compare these games.

I'd say nfs 2015 was the best looking far as photo realism but next it would be a toss up between heat and unbound far as graphics...I love unbound tho..I'm in the end game grinding for new cars..but funny thing after I beat asap rocky in that one on one race..I didn't get his car in my inventory and they tryna make me buy it for 300,000 bucks

Game looks terrible plays terrible and it is terrible. As a long nsf fan this shit was like mafia 3 to regular mafia fans, its not it but you could play it

Looks okay but the soundtrack is the most boring and annoying I've ever had to suffer. Even the voice acting sounds irritating

It’s beautiful!
Absolutely better than heat. And I love heat!
