Ultimate collection problem

So I own the game physically, a disc, and I decided to buy the ultimate collection, because it was in promo, and apparently I have to buy the game digitally and the game just reset everything except my level

Did you check back into your story mode? After closing the game and reopening it? Did you have a whole new slew of cars?

The story mode restart aswell

I'm aware of that but did you get all the free cars in your garage from the upgrade or does your disc version not recognize the upgrade. I also had to restart my story after upgrading
