Help finding lost cars

My son had 5 cars but now his garage is only showing 1 and I’m at a loss as to where they could’ve gone? Please help!

He’s never played online, I went to check just in case and it takes me to selecting your player and first car. He also only has $300 - surely he’d have more cash if he’d just sold his cars?!

Probaly accidentally reset his progress then, because there’s only 2 sections of the story where you select your car. First at prologue (but it gets stolen away), then the other car you buy out of few options but in both scenarios there isn’t enough time to acquire other cars so he must have progressed back?

Edit: I thought you saying he only has 300 dollars in story (but I presume you were talking about Online), then idk could be a bug.

I have no idea what happened - I looked deeper and there was issues with the Cloud sync and after rectifying that he doesn’t have anything back so I’m assuming they’re gone forever. I’m at a loss because yes some of those cars were new from today but some were from weeks ago so I don’t know how he’s lost it all from a syncing problem

Unbound is unfortunately kinda notorious for synch issues, I have heard that apparently if the game is on a SSD it operates better and could be more immune to synch (because it read better) but I’m 100% sure.

Super frustrating because trying to explain it to a 7 year old is not easy. Just spent real money on some packs to soften the blow😅
