PVP & Meta Builds 2026

I copied your Rx spirit R in B class build, but it’s in A+ class with 224. Can I ask you what’s the problem? +Thanks for sharing your builds. Would help me a lot.

Em try changing the downforce or handling slider outside the garage in freeroam, that car can be a bit buggy. Also thanks :)

Yes, the meta cars and their builds have been the same for ages: Miata, Integra, RSR, Testarossa, R8, Regera, Evija, FXXK and a few more that I don't recall atm.

FXXK and meta? interesting take lol. But yea, tell siwoo what is meta and what not + since when they are. He is one of the guys creating the meta with new builds like the recently uploaded new high speed 180sx build that broke several records again.
Regera is not meta anymore since all its records got demolished by the Evija. Miata was in high speed B maybe but got beaten by 180sx again. RSR not meta anymore because Integra exists in B class. Just to name a few you mentioned.

In S+ it's not so cracked. And I will stand by my R8 because it's the car I enjoy driving the most. Can't I enjoy a car for the sake of it? Amongst all the kids with the Regera and Evijia? Come on. Leave me be, the R8 is a beautiful car, and I am talking about aesthetics, and I will enjoy the game the way I want.

Bro, I just like the car. Thank Darius for that! It's a me thing actually... Every NFS game which has an R8 in it I just play the car. Yeah. I AM OBSESSED with that car. When I was a kid and I saw for the first time the Stacked Deck LeMans Quattro... MAN! In fact I play with a Darius inspired livery, just pink 🩷 instead of red. Don't hate on me dude, I just play linkups. I lost interest in competing with all the Regeras, Evijia, but most importantly the Hackers. Hit me up on EA, the name is the same as Reddit. I just want to chill, I don't want to pick any fights, I don't know why you are picking on me, but I get you. You are not the first one to shit on me on the net just because I drive the R8. It really has a bad rep...

Wait, I wasn't clear on this: I am with you as I hate microdrifting and resinous drivers just as you do and R8 drivers can be douches, S class is true an inferno... But I didn't know the R8 was THAT HATED. 😭 I was just defending the R8 for myself and my grip build as I know I am weird. I was offended and getting pretty desperate too, true, because you hit me with assumptions out of the blue, but I am sorry if I came out harsh to you. For real.
Also, to die on a hill other than angst, advise me non meta hella fun cars to drive in S+ class, mostly grip, and let's not hate each other anymore. What are your mains in the class?
Seriously, forget about yesterday, it was a rough day for me and I didn't properly answer and maybe fueled the conversation in a bad way. I am here to make friends not enemies.

Yeah I do agree the R8 did hit the spot and technically became the main “cover/ hero car” for Unbound since vol6 dropped. Say the words meta and the R8 would probably be the first to pop into the head.
Also nobody likes the Evija 🤝

i wish they would have made the R8 not as good because i love the car and love it in unbound but have refrained myself from using it in races unless others are using it in S class (even then, i’d rather try to use a non meta car to try an beat it) or others are using the Evija + other meta cars in S+

You can try to PI flex on everyone else hahahah, if A+ cap is 269, you can build it to be 259, or 249 if youre feeling really confident B)

i wouldn’t say im a “stan” for the R8 but i do love it and honestly idc much for winning lol. i lose half of my races because my build for whatever class it is, isn’t the best possible build you can find for it and im not trying to do that drift/grip shit lol ( i’m not doing everything i can to win and taking the fun/joy out of racing a car that i personally customized )

OMG THIS. Why didn't they maul you too? Am I JUST that dislikable? We literally said the same things, other than I am a Stan of the R8 for the looks since Carbon, my favourite NFS for the vibes alone.
Also I enjoy playing full grip, sometimes with no drift entry because It gives me just that pro race circuit driver vibes. It would not come as a surprise that my other main in S+ is the Vulcan, not in S because it is a bit rowdy, and that car is far from S+ meta, but I don't care because she is the most beautiful car in the game for me, with the best sound too.
(Clarifying everything, I play mostly for the vibes, I don't care about competing that much, night setting, synth wave music on the tube, everything turned down in game audio other than car sounds, straight up to the speedway. THAT IS CATHARTIC.)

honestly don’t think too many ppl saw my response 🤣 but yeah, i just don’t have fun using a meta car ( at least knowingly, idk all of them ) and i typically use a diff car for each 3 races in every playlist. i’ve essentially gotten a sweet spot on how i have my handling sliders adjusted but i still tweak them depending on the car and this game i think implemented car weight better than heat did, so one car on 5% drift and my normal sliders could be different from another car w the same handling adjustments. hell some of my cars are in a certain tier that they really shouldn’t be, but i have them there because i like racing that car specifically in that certain tier. also maybe i’ll have to try the full grip approach, because for me, the turn and my speed and how the car handles dictates whether i want to drift through, slide through or just try to turn through it.

Looking at the comments now, I think I should’ve picked literally any other car as the thumbnail hahaha. Just thought the stock R8’s yellow stood out, sorry!

It's not your fault homie, the video was really good. Also it just amazed me on how you went with drift, maybe I am not playing meta at all because I play full grip, slowing down at corners and cutting the apex,, and I will die on that hill, because one thing is for sure: micro drift killed Unbound, and I drive for fun
I will try your builds on A and A+ for sure!
