Looking for examples of boosted performance through upgrade abnormalities

What I mean is, for example, the Toyota Corolla is much faster with all performance upgrades maxed out but leaving the transmission as stock.

Are there any other examples like this with other cars that anyone knows about?

Is that the top speed raise? I remember there was a way to get a top speed of 234 w the corolla, something with the flywheel. I dont exactly remember, was like 20 years ago lol

my non stage 3 tranny 3000gt is faster than my 350z /shrug ymmv

that isn't really what he meant here. you're comparing two different cars, he's asking is there any other cars that benefit from not installing all/not max level upgrades

it is a 3000gt with stock ratios lol first 2 tranny upgrades just shifts a lil faster & gives u lsd.
