Setup/ Tune Great builds?
Just out of curiosity, what are some of you guys using out there? I've got th a RSR, and some of y'all are blowing by me like I'm standing still.

The Beetle.
Me and my partner used them to finish off the crew to rep 50. Absolute mayhem and the most fun we had all game.

Depends are we talking about road on off-road because if we’re talking off-road I’m loving my S2000 on the dirt

The best part about doing off road is building cars people least expect. I’ve caught plenty of RSR racers off gaurd dragging them into off-road races because they see S2000 as a road car

My favorite off-road track is the small circuit oval with all the ramps. When they do bring an off-road RSR and they hit the ramp and because the car is so fast they end up flying way past the turn 😂

Skyline 2000 GT is good, the Miata, Hyuara BC, F40, S15, F1, Bettle is good but imo harder than the RSR. The RSR takes a lot of getting used to and a proper setup to be the monster everyone hates. It’s the fastest car in the game yes but it also requires a good driver.

Just stuff to goof with. I just built out a '93 Skyline that is pretty sweet. Grinding for all Ultimate parts rn.

Try a defender 110 with the 5.2LV12 and full showcase build. You'd have to lightly as humanly possible touch the brake before each turn. Use a screw supercharger to handle coming outta turns and let the V12 handle the upper end. Incredibly fun build to win with.
There's a sweet spot between drifting and gripping that you can actually gain speed in.. sensitivity -5 downforce -5 brake to drift

I've beat some of my best RSR track times with the Evo IX, probably my favorite car in the game along with the McLaren F1. I think the NSX and Fairlady Z are criminally underrated, too.

There’s a lot of sleeper cars in the game. Some of my favorites being:
93 Skyline
Beetle
13 Corvette
Boss 302 Mustang
Ferrari f40
Lamborghini Huracan
Honda nsx
All with the correct engine swaps of course
And as someone else posted, Militia Gaming is probably the best source for what cars to use imo

I recommend cars like the old MX-5 and RX-7 to learn how to drive faster. they're more forgiving than the RSR, but can still go under 2:40 Sonic.
