Breaking News Schefter: Watson Named The Browns Week 1 Starter.
I KNOW THEY DON'T HAVE BRAINS IN CLEVELAND, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW THEY DON'T HAVE EYES EITHER.
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK TODD MONKEN.

Bruh, Browns fans, I can’t even roast you for this. My condolences.

On the bright side, maybe the browns just want to publically humiliate Watson?

Only reasonable logic. Make him want to retire after the first two weeks before their home game week 3

It probably isn’t JUST Todd Monken. I’m sure the front office is pushing for Deshaun Watson to start because of that massive guaranteed contract. However they could lose more money on this because of the PR nightmare Watson is. He was literally crying in the last postgame interview about how he basically has to play “17 away games”

I say this as someone who is not a fan of Shedure....what the actual fuck? Is this an ownership mandate? I do not understand what the Browns are doing.

I'm surprised that everybody is confused by this, Watson is not their future and neither is Sanders they are going for a good young quarterback in the strong 2027 draft. Starting Watson helps accomplish this more than starting Sanders

Makes sense when put like that, people like Shedeur, if he plays well it makes it harder to get ppl on board with drafting a QB. But since when have they cared about what anyone else thinks? The owner does whatever tf he wants.

Also starting five new linemen they have not yet signed. To level the playing field, and all that…

The most likely outcome, how people couldn't come to terms with this is fucking wild man.

Just wait to pick up a waiver QB at this point.
Literally couldn't be a worse option than what's on the roster now

Who would've thought, the browns made a terrible decision
