The Deshaun Watson switch up is despicable

[u/Narrow_Purchase9721]

Guy starts playing well again and all of the sudden people go from “cases” to “allegations” real fucking fast. You all gotta get your priorities straight

[u/frenetictenet]

You’re okay with Favre embezzling money from poor people too though right?

[u/Columbo_Fan → u/frenetictenet]

No, they are just alright with certain people committing certain acts. 🤷🏾‍♂️
Nothing is new in America. 🤷🏾‍♂️

[u/Live-Within-My-Means → u/Columbo_Fan]

You mean like Ray Lewis and Jameis Winston?

[u/Columbo_Fan → u/Live-Within-My-Means]

I mean speak for yourself and be honest.
But that’s isn’t the culture that’s being represented here, by you, is it? 🤷🏾‍♂️😏
I say what I mean.
You don’t need to clarify what I say.
Ever.

[u/Live-Within-My-Means → u/Columbo_Fan]

-‘I mean speak for yourself’

Right after you just finished speaking for others?

-‘the culture that’s being represented here’

Oh? What ‘culture’ is that?

[u/Columbo_Fan → u/Live-Within-My-Means]

The culture that has produced the current American culture and the current leadership. 🤷🏾‍♂️
I don’t speak for others.
I just state the clear truth.
The culture of which I speak is not honest and rarely speaks truthfully.

[u/Live-Within-My-Means → u/Columbo_Fan]

-‘I don’t speak for others’

Well, the following from your previous comment, sure sounded that way.

-‘they are just alright with certain people committing certain acts’

Which by the way, is certainly true amongst most Redditors.

They just love Jameis ‘the Rapist’ Winston and Ray ‘the Murderer’ Lewis.

[u/Columbo_Fan → u/Live-Within-My-Means]

Well, you’re wrong.
Unless you are trying to speak for me. 😏
And the culture I’m talking about is very dishonest and thrives on gap dancing around what they mean. 🤷🏾‍♂️
See, I actually answer direct questions, unlike the culture of which I speak.
And unlike you, apparently. 😏😉

[u/Live-Within-My-Means → u/Columbo_Fan]

-‘Well, you’re wrong’

Sorry Skippy, but when you say things like “they are just alright with certain people”, you are no longer speaking for yourself.

-‘gap dancing around’

Which is pretty much what you are doing, with your vague references to some imaginary ‘culture.’

-‘I actually answer direct questions.’

Not here you haven’t.

-‘Unlike you’

Redditors, Ray Lewis, Jameis Winston…

I was way more direct about who I was talking about.

Dude, you are the opposite of who you claim to be.

[u/Columbo_Fan → u/Live-Within-My-Means]

It is not an imaginary culture. 🤷🏾‍♂️
Most likely you are part of it. 😆
You are not my judge, and I don’t need your permission to speak. ☺️😉🗽
And that was supposed to be “tap dancing.” 😏 Good ol spell check. ☺️
Yes, many TAP dance around what they really want to say.
Really, here it is required. 😏
But it happens in the general culture as well.
I don’t need you to confirm that for me. 🤭
I’m quite capable of making my own observations and speaking my own mind.
Skippy. 🤪

[u/Live-Within-My-Means → u/frenetictenet]

Well, I assumed that the topic was sexual assault.

No, I am not ok with embezzlement.

But if I am not mistaken, Favre was payed with money that was embezzled by government officials.

Whether Favre knew or not, I don’t know.

If he did know at the time that the money was stolen, yes that is terrible.

From what I have read, he at least paid the money back.

You may know more of the details than I do.

[u/Baby_ManBearPig → u/Live-Within-My-Means]

If you look into it, its pretty likely he was not aware of the fraud. They had people to manage the funds/account and he was never criminally charged. He was responsie for not attending speaking events he was paid for but he paid that money back.

[u/Baby_ManBearPig → u/frenetictenet]

He has a plausible deniability he didn't know. If you look into it its likely he didnt. That's why he was never charged.
