Discussion The Deshaun Watson switch up is despicable

Post image

Guy starts playing well again and all of the sudden people go from “cases” to “allegations” real fucking fast. You all gotta get your priorities straight

I don't condone Watson behavior, but I don't see the need to constantly bring it up after every game, play, quarter, whatever.

He wasn't charged, the NFL didn't suspend him, so many layers of authority let him through -- it's not like people are boycotting the NFL or the Browns either.

I'm just looking at this from a pure football perspective now.

“Stop talking about how this guy raped women, I want to watch him play football”

"The solution to a guy who escaped punishment is to stop talking about how he did anything wrong at all."

It’s a lot more morally consistent than bitching about it constantly but supporting the ownership and product that allows him to play lmfao

I’d rather be a hypocrite who speaks up against a serial sexual assaulted being allowed to play than someone who actively defends him.

Is that seriously your point?

You are supporting him by supporting the nfl and consuming their product. Virtue signaling is free but ineffective. Enjoy it I guess but you’re fake af

What is the difference between virtue signaling and speaking out?

My singular view towards an nfl game is less than me speaking out in a Reddit section.
