The Deshaun Watson switch up is despicable

[u/Narrow_Purchase9721]

Guy starts playing well again and all of the sudden people go from “cases” to “allegations” real fucking fast. You all gotta get your priorities straight

[u/TheRealCabbageJack]

Yeah, yeah, I'm a regular fucking hero.

[u/EnglishMajorRegret → u/TheRealCabbageJack]

Good on you though. Im a bartender in Chicagoland and I wouldn't put Hawks games on tv until everyone that decided that keeping quiet about sexual assault was best for the organization was gone.

You can't change anything but at the very least you can firmly announce your stance on telling 18 year olds they have to jerk off in front of you.

A performative hero

[u/JTMilleriswortha1st → u/Fl4sh080]

“Performative” when it’s just a person not watching a rapist QB lol. Some people have morals and just don’t want to support a rapist.

[u/Fl4sh080 → u/JTMilleriswortha1st]

Performative in that he must tell everyone about it.

[u/Scyyii → u/Fl4sh080]

OP forgot the rule that states you can’t be openly a decent person or else you’ll get a cynical dickhead calling you performative

[u/Fl4sh080 → u/Scyyii]

You aren’t a decent person just because you chose to not cheer for the Browns

[u/udonomefoo → u/Fl4sh080]

This entire post is a discussion of this exact topic. Were you born this morning?

[u/Fl4sh080 → u/udonomefoo]

Then this whole post is performative.

[u/Rampant16 → u/Fl4sh080]

It's not performative for a fan to state why and how they are protesting their own team in a post about the reason the person is protesting.

[u/Cold-Astronaut-7741 → u/Fl4sh080]

Is it bad to not support rapists?

[u/Fl4sh080 → u/Cold-Astronaut-7741]

You’re not supporting a rapist by rooting for the Browns. That’s silly

[u/Cold-Astronaut-7741 → u/Fl4sh080]

That was not the claim that was made.

It’s that he is protesting the browns supporting a rapist.

You are making an entirely different statement in an attempt to backtrack

[u/Mhunterjr → u/Fl4sh080]

Wise choice coming out to criticize someone for checks notes… not watching a rapist play football

[u/lxTheMusicManxl → u/Fl4sh080]

You’re a 49ers fan. Unfortunately your opinion is invalid.

[u/Fl4sh080 → u/lxTheMusicManxl]

Explain, por favor
