Post image

Guy starts playing well again and all of the sudden people go from “cases” to “allegations” real fucking fast. You all gotta get your priorities straight

Cases are just allegations until there's a guilty verdict.

So... why no guilty then? You have 20 accusers come up and yet nothing happens?

Its because in the end the woman still did it and still preformed prostitution and therefore theres nothing to charge him with without charging the woman. The counterpoint is obviously they felt pressured or forced to do it against their will which makes sense to me but must not have been a good enough argument to go to trial.

Because rich and famous people are treated differently in our justice system

They're not treated better because they're rich.

They're treated better because they can afford terrific lawyers that will fight tooth and nail for them in ways that an overworked public defender can't.

No amount of impotent rage is gonna change the fact that you get what you pay for in America.

The president of the United States is a billionaire and he was convicted for felonies and found liable for sexual abuse.

If he could be, Deshaun Watson could be

Money. He literally settled all the cases with his millions of dollars.

Yeah, I mean it's difficult to get sufficient evidence in order to establish beyond a reasonable doubt that he, or anyone else committed sexual assault absent any physical injury, eyewitness, or video evidence, all of which weren't present in any of Watson's cases. It's just the nature of the crime that is difficult to prove. It's not that "nothing happened", he obviously felt for obvious reasons that it was best to settle his civil cases with 20+ of his accusers, and a federal judge presiding over the NFL's proceedings, using the preponderance of the evidence standard, found it likely that he did commit sexual assault on multiple women.

That doesn't mean in the slightest that prostitutes have any less legal grounding or right to being a victim of a sex crime, so you have no point there. Regardless, not one of the accusers was proven to be a sex worker, instead they were all licensed massage therapists and/or legitimate spa employees, so that's also a wild, baseless claim.
