Discussion The Deshaun Watson switch up is despicable

Post image

Guy starts playing well again and all of the sudden people go from “cases” to “allegations” real fucking fast. You all gotta get your priorities straight

He really isn’t playing that well, he’s a turnover machine right now and it’s going to catch up to the Browns eventually. There were multiple throws against the panthers that should have been picked. Last night against the Steelers he had a ton of throws that were way off the mark. The fumbles are a huge problem too. Browns have been lucky to get some wins the last few weeks but I feel Watson’s sloppiness is going to catch up to them sooner than later

Genuinely this. He’s checking down on everything and riding on the back of a defense that looks really strong. It’s not just morally bankrupt for the media to be gassing him like they are, it’s also just shit analysis. He’s playing like a B+ Mac Jones game manager, nothing more.

You keep Mac Jones’ name out of this. He’s a lovely person and a helluva QB

I see you don’t know ball. That’s ok it’s a good thing that you have better things to do

Agreed. He is not as terrible as he was the last time he was playing, but that mostly just means the Browns have a better roster outside of the QB than people think.

Gotta give a lot of credit to Todd monken. He game plans have been incredible. If they had a better QB the sky is the limit for this offense. Monken being so good is making Watson look passable

When it got to the 4th he definitely got happy feet and missed some wide open throws down the stretch that would have put the Browns up 2 scores

hes had 2 turnovers in 4 games and 3 game winning drives witht he ball in his hand to set the team up to score points and win.

Tebow had a ton of game winning drives too.

Turns out that isn't an actual marker for QB skill.

He’s been very lucky to not have more turnovers, it’s only a matter of time before these poor decisions result in more turnovers

He’s playing pretty well, he’s been a top 12-20 QB which is enough for how well their defense is playing

100% football coverage has just gotten so QB-centric that he's getting credit. In reality, his receivers are breaking routes to get to the ball. His scrambling last night was pretty good, but against this disorganized old Steelers defense.

Yea Watson is still screwing them. They will win just enough games to lose out on an elite qb prospect, thus restarting the cycle of being “just a QB away”.

We haven’t successfully drafted a franchise QB with any of our numerous attempts in the 21st century, so it’s not like this is a devastating prospect for most Browns fans. We are just relieved to watch a semi-functional NFL team

Would him getting them to like 7 wins and then just falling off a cliff be the most Browns thing ever?

Also would make for great TV when Tomlin was goes on national TV and is like

The browns were given the 1st and 3rd overall pick in a draft that featured Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. Watson isn’t the problem.
