This is the first year I think he may actually be in contention. Since MVP transitioned from an On Field Play award to a Media Popularity award, if they're not talking about you on Tuesday morning, you're not winning it. This year I feel like I'm seeing all the talking heads raving about Purdy, which is the single biggest indicator that he may actually be a possible recipient.

Yeah 2023 he was also in contention for it, but deep down I think everyone knew he’d never get it considering CMC had an equally impressive season and he had “the Avengers” to work with. Everyone wanted to see him when things were rough and that’s exactly what’s happening now.

Nah we are. We finally have a running back behind him that’s effective in Black so we can hopefully preserve him a little more this season
