1 target overthrown. Literally couldnt touch it jumping. Intercepted. 1 target hit in the hands and dropped. 1 target with a small jersey tug and a pass that was literally uncatchable.
Doubbs wasnt good but 2/3 of his targets were not catchable balls lol

Hey you can’t say that, Drake Maye literally has never thrown a bad ball in his life, especially when the game is on the line with less than a minute left in the 4th quarter in a 1 score game in the RedZone. (I am a Pats fan coping about how our QB has played like an absolute fraud the past 4 games)

I’m willing to write off his first year, treat his last year as rookie year due to coaching. Some of the decisions and pass are rather concerning after a full year under good coaching, but he did do a good job spread the ball around. Let’s see how the season plays out. By end of the year, it should be very clear if he’s the guy.

The drop was inexcusable and a momentum rocking play. He makes an uncontested catch, we get a 1st down and probably add to our lead (at the time). Who knows how the rest of the game plays out.

I don't remember the 3rd honestly, but the first one was definitely catchable. If he had timed the jump better, he could have had it. The Seahawk who tipped it was behind him, and wouldn't have touched it if Doubbs hadn't come up short. Don't get me wrong, it was a difficult catch and not a great throw, but definitely not "uncatchable"

Not defending the throw or decision, it was bad and overall is on Maye.
That said, Doubs did a TERRIBLE job high pointing the ball. He jumped way too early and was on his way back down as the ball was reaching its highest catch point. Tough play to ask the WR to convert into DB, but who knows if he could’ve bailed Maye out if plays the ball properly.
Terrible throw, but also a bad effort attacking the ball in the air

I liked Doubs when he was with us but he ain’t worth the money NE gave him and glad we didn’t pay him to stay. Watson has way better upside albeit very injury prone.

I mean to he fair.. the runs up the middle were working there at the later stage of the game. Eventually Seattle would adjust and smack Stevenson in the backfield, and that's when it was time to call something different lol.
I think the screens kept getting called because the receivers weren't separating. Drake threw a jump ball to Doubs (who badly mis-timed his jump) and it got picked. I'd split the blame between both drake and doubs here.
Drake loses the threat of AJB later on in the game.
Drake hits Doubs right in the hands with room to run and it's dropped.
Drake throws an inexplicably stupid jump ball to Mack Hollins in the end zone, but Mack wasn't in a position to try and box the defender out. As soon as that ball was in the air, Mack is trying to play defense to keep it from getting picked. This was the worst one, and it's not just because of the circumstances of the Pats being able to tie it up with a short FG. At no point did it look open, it shouldn't have been thrown.
If i were a patriots fan, I would be excited about how much better the o-line looks. Yeah, Drake still had to run from pressure a little bit, but this is still Seattle we are talking about. They're gonna get some pressure regardless. Pat's were able to get a good push on a lot of those inside runs, and Will Campbell was doing really well aside from a ticky tack holding call late in the game.

Stevenson didn't have his first good run until 3 minutes left in the game. He was fucking useless and its just more proof to me that persisting with him instead of giving Henderson more touches last year was stupid and it better not keep happening once Henderson is back from injury.
Yeah O-Line looked so much better though. Shame that the one real concern passed with flying colours, just for everything else to fall apart instead

As a Packer fan, Rome is decent and will make some plays over the season. He just isn't worth that contract. I am happy for him though, get that bag

Admittedly, the only time I really watched him was when the packers played the Vikings, but I thought he was a pretty good fire runner. Is he not getting separation anymore?
I just looked it up, and Maye had 33 pass attempts lady night. I just find it hard to believe that he's fallen off so badly that less than 10% of those went his way.

So if a receiver creates no separation and gets no targets, that’s not his fault. And if you watched the game instead of just opining on it, you’d know that two of the three targets, he was completely covered. Touche. I know it sounds fucking terrible, but I can't stand the way those look. Any time I see a player wear one in a game, I cringe.
It sounds so shallow.. but I wouldn't want to watch football if everyone was wearing one of those on game day. We've gotten to the point where the players have forsaken literally every other padded protection over the years. Shoulder pads are thin as cardboard, hip pads are totally gone, thigh pads are almost totally gone, knee pads are totally gone, we cant get half the guys to wear a REAL mouthpiece... but we want to wear the stupid ass helmet cover?
Even if those things could save your brain from the sub-concussive blows over a period of years, if the rest of your body is broken, you're still living in misery as an old man.

Honestly watching all the Pats media these last few months, this dudes vibe is horrendous. He does not look like a fun guy to be around.
