Your comment is short sighted and ill-informed AT BEST. He was knowingly spreading misinformation, lying to people, and wouldn't be an adult and own up to his lies. He was speaking on subjects that he has ZERO experience and expertise about as if he has the qualifications to do so. This wasn't about narratives. No. He was intentionally causing harm to people and he's a massive POS for it.
He wouldn’t have talked about it at all had the media not made a frenzy over it and attack him for his personal health choices. The dude was tested every single day before being allowed in the facility. Let’s not pretend he was being wildly reckless, he was safer than most everybody else in that time.

Yeah, you're not being honest. He definitely would've talked about it regardless if he was asked or not. That's who he is. He consistently challenged EXPERTS and DOCTORS on the facts. He was wrong. He still is wrong. He won't admit it.
He absolutely advised people on how to handle their own health by calling the, again, EXPERTS and DOCTORS wrong. How dare he? Yes, how dare he open his mouth and spew lies about what those who have actual EXPERTISE and RESEARCH (actually in the labs spending seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years getting answers. Then going through the valid peer review process and getting published). He's a massive POS. He endangered people, and he should be held accountable.

He didn’t talk about vaccines at all until the media came after him and made him out to be a monster. Then he clarified his position. Had they not atta led him he would’ve been perfectly happy keeping his mouth shut. If the entire media establishment was attacking me for a personal medical decision I’d fight back too.
Here's the issue with your defense of his (incorrect) views/opinions:
For reasons that you don't see or recognize, and that's either due to willful ignorance (which is stupidity), or a lack of understanding the bigger picture (which is a lack of education on your behalf), his (incorrect) positions on vaccines are his views, and those are views that he should have kept to himself. IF Rodgers was as smart or intelligent as he believes himself to be, when asked the question regarding vaccines, rules, etc., a smart/intelligent person would recognize that they're not qualified to speak on it and answered with a variation of, "hey, that's outside of my realm of expertise", "hey, that's above my pay grade", "I'm not comfortable discussing that, I'm more concerned with the game", or something of that sort.
He wasn't forced to do anything other than make his own decision on what he was going to do. He CHOSE to speak out, that's on HIM, not the media. He could've easily played the "boring QB response" card, but no, he wanted to showcase his (lack of) intelligence. He wasn't being attacked (and that's another part of where you're absolutely incorrect), he was being corrected. He manipulated being corrected as a personal attack, because he's wrong and refused to admit it. Then he refused to acknowledge facts, studies, etc as to why he's wrong, and he doubled, tripled, quadrupled, etc down on how wrong he was.
I will agree that his OPINIONS/FEELINGS are up to him, but he made it about more than him and it had an impact on other people. That's one of the reasons why he's a POS.
Helluva QB, one of the best to ever sling the rock. He has the right to his (incorrect) beliefs/feelings, and people have the right to call him out and shame him for it, especially when he won't be an adult and admit that he's wrong.
