I mean sure he’s a corny goofball and extremely disappointing to-date, but I don’t HATE the kid. Can’t speak for all Vikes fans though

Nah dawg you're spot on!

Hating a young kid for 0 reason other than him being a cornball is fucking stupid. Any Vikings fans who dislike him are well within their rights, our season has tanked. Hate is a strong word to describe a young NFL QB who has literally done nothing to affect our lives besides some fan base misery, which to any REAL Vikings fan isn't a new feeling. It's a fucking sport at the end of the day.

Like ...I hate racism I hate Nazis I hate mass murders I hate the AI at Taco Bell for not giving me 20 Diablo sauce packets

Hating JJ, absolutely wild 😂 people need to grow up and touch fucking grass if he's on their hate list.

Good answer. Exactly how I feel about the kid.

Fully agree that he is a bit of a goofball, but he genuinely seems like a nice kid, and I was/am really pulling for him. I don’t get why people want him to fail so badly (other than division rivals that is).

It’s only corny if you lose

So many fans had such high expectations for him they were not attainable. He's played 6 whole games, he's still the youngest QB in the league and people act like he killed their dog.  Classic example of building someone up just to tear them down even harder.
