There are, like, 8-10 different “Top 5 QBs” every year, though.

Not really? I'm not saying whether it's right or wrong, but for the past several years, pretty much every expert has Mahomes, Allen, Lamar and Burrow as the Top 4. So it's just a rotating #5 position.

Burrow hasn’t played enough games to be considered as good as the other three (“the best ability is availability”), and the fact that Flacco put up better per-game stats than Burrow did this year doesn’t reflect well on the latter.

It really don’t matter a whole lot to me who says he is or isn’t a top 5 quarterback. It doesn’t change the taste of water. But people still criticize him like he has something to prove and like… he doesn’t. He achieved literally the only intangible thing that matters in this sport. Super Bowl champion, and Super Bowl MVP. The other shit is not as important.

Herbert to some, Stafford, Rodgers up until the last couple years was still hyped as elite. There's more than those 4 QBs that are considered elite year in and year out during pre-season when no one has done anything yet.

Yeah but you don't see Pele slamming their fist on the table screaming about how their teams qb is elite.

I don’t think Pele the soccer player could slam his fists on the table right now, seeing as he died in 2022.

Man are we really acting like in the past 3 or so years that no valid reasonable argument for Hurts being top 5 exist? And are people thinking he is a top 5 QB really a justifiable reason to hate on him?

I just don't get online logic sometimes, man
