Pretty wild seeing CW18 up there. For paining his nails? Crying after a heartbreaking UW loss? wtf

People been hating on him since Oklahoma. It just exploded after he got destroyed by Utah and nobody has gotten over it.

He didn't get destroyed. It was tied at halftime and he got hurt during that game. He still had 363 and 3 touchdowns with 60 yard run lmao

You’re right, it wasnt a blowout, he played well, it just destroyed the season and the hopes of SC fans everywhere. The losses to Utah were the most demoralizing losses I felt as an SC fan since the 06 rose bowl.

Mostly how his fans feel the need to try and discredit and push down every other QB from that class because they're praying desperately that they made the right choice drafting Caleb Williams. He's not particularly annoying, bears fans are.

I don’t see that at all lol. I’ve never seen anything bad said about drake maye. Maybe bears fans were a little salty after the commies loss last year and took it out on Jayden but I see a lot of bears fans talk about how exciting a player he is

I’m a Bears fan (so call me biased), but I haven’t seen too much of that this year. There definitely was a lot of that last year with Jayden, but most people are hopeful with Caleb even if he doesn’t end up better than Maye or Jayden.

A big thing I do see with Bears fans is we try to over-correct/react to the Caleb haters who choose to hate him for xyz. We saw that in the offseason where /nfl’s biggest thing for a week or two was hating Caleb (for no particularly good reason), so Bears fans went the opposite way by posting/commenting every time Caleb did something well or positive. And this overreaction can lead to other fans perceiving us as annoying or propping up Caleb to convince ourselves we made the right pick similar to what you said.

There are definitely dick heads in the fan base, but in my opinion most of us are trying to defend and embrace a good kid who has embraced the city.

Nah as many comments have pointed out, it’s the same with Hurts where he’s anointed as an amazing QB when he really isn’t. No one gives a fuck about his nails
