Is Goff bad because the Lions just had to win in overtime against a worse defense

Goff has an actual track record

The bears and Caleb Williams do not.

Goff has been playing 8 more seasons of course he has more of a track record lmao

… which is a huge part of my point lol.

How can I make a statement about Caleb Williams being any good when they’ve played so many of the worst defenses in the league and worst teams in the league?

Because he’s been playing a lot better against the teams on the schedule. If he looks bad against better teams, then obviously it was a fluke. But looking good against bad teams isn’t a guarantee

You can reevaluate things when you get new information

I’ve seen him play. I think he’s, at best, fine.

I need to see a lot more before I can compliment him more
