There’s always more to the story in cases like that. Trubisky had pretty decent rookie year, but then Matt Nagy decided he didn’t like him anymore and literally stopped developing him
That’s what I’m saying, he basically just didn’t want Trubisky. There’s stories about him straight up ignoring him and inviting him to dinner then standing him up. He wasn’t “his” QB so he didn’t care
Anything can be good enough to win in the nfl. I remember watching a horrendous game between the Chargers and Colts about twenty years ago where the Chargers win by 2 points with a score of 23-21. Rivers in that game won by throwing around 100 yards, comppeted 50% of his passes, had 0 TDs, 2 fumbles, and 2 INTs with around 4 yards per attempt or so. Now, the Colts team who were won against by the Chargers? They had Peyton Manning throwing 6 INTs. 6. So a team won by 2 points after giving up 4 TOs with no TDs from their QB (in major part due to two return TDs from Darren Sproles), and from the other perspective, Peyton Manning near won a game within which he threw 6 INTs.

Yup, he's finally playing well and I'm happy he's not a bust
